Well, opinions are opinions, my dear anonymous. But writing reviews doesn't mean being a fan.

Question: Would Nirvana have had the same fortune without Kurt's strong image? Not taking anything away from the music, I believe his persona accounts for 50% of their success! I know so many young girls with Kurt's posters on their walls!

Here I am, sorry...
David Byrne Lead Us Not Into Temptation
Voto:
Well, David Byrne as a solo artist seemed a bit too highbrow for my taste. I recommend the first four albums by the Talking Heads. One of the most mind-blowing bands of the last twenty years.

Nice review. Well done. A bit more positive than mine. But I don't think Verdena are the best Italian band around.
Nirvana MTV Unplugged In New York
Voto:
I hated Nirvana, thanks to my too-refined ear, but then I started listening to them and appreciating them. This Unplugged does justice to Cobain's art, a few chords, cut-up (not very appreciated by me), and a haunting voice. You can feel the atmosphere of the end, absolutely.

Hi, as I said, I like the album and I listen to it often, but it doesn't deserve such a high rating, in my opinion.

Well, if it’s the Suicidio Dei and not my apologies, but the substance doesn’t change much. Sallu’s album is really pleasant to listen to, especially on these winter evenings, but delving deeper into the matter, the lyrics have improved but are still too subservient to the Kurt-style cut-up, and musically "Solo un grande sasso" had better ideas. As for the controversy, I would appreciate that after the reviews (at least mine) there are only musical comments. Thank you.

Unfortunately, in Italy there isn't a group even remotely similar to Bluvertigo, due to the absence of another character like Morgan. I can recommend the first two albums of the recently disbanded La Sintesi (which I will review): "L'eroe romantico" and "Un curioso caso," where we can find those Bluvertigo vibes with less electronics and more guitars. As for the reality of Bluvertigo, Morgan has announced that the group is not disbanded but frozen. Let's hope for the best.

I believe their masterpiece remains "Metallo non Metallo." Zero is their most mature work. I don’t think anyone has ever accomplished so much in Italy in just three albums. I will try to write the reviews of the other two albums in the trilogy as soon as possible, but I invite you to do so as well.
