It was about time he released a solo album! The DT would have also annoyed me.. I had to change my mind about Petrucci.. I thought he was all speed and no substance.. but with this album, he proves me wrong.. Really, really beautiful! It was a huge surprise! Well done, Petrucci!!

I am a huge admirer of Satriani and Vai, I simply adore them.. But I didn't like this G3 that much.. The G3 2004 with Malmsteen was much better.. In fact, the DVD is much better; the live CDs, in my opinion, do not do justice to the power and creativity of these six-string geniuses..
