Winds Of Funeral Funeral Wintermoon
Voto:
I am from Lecce, and just like here, there are also quite a few bands in Taranto that work their asses off to play. Maximum support to Funeral Wintermoon and all the Salentine bands: we need to make our mark, damn it! Stefano, say hi to mauroch and simone for me (you know who I'm talking about?)

Undoubtedly one of the most successful in its genre, but only in its genre. You rightly mentioned images&words, rust in peace, imaginations, savatage, etc... I would also add: cowboys from hell, human and individual thought patterns, focus, de mysteriis dom sathanas, seasons in the abyss, painkiller, and many others that I can't think of right now.

Well... calling it the greatest metal masterpiece of the '90s is quite an exaggeration, poet73 realize that in the '90s quite a few noteworthy albums were released, especially in the early '90s, far more important than this one. But do you only listen to power? Why don't you also check out something more extreme? Thrash, black, death, or even some good old classic heavy metal from the '80s, the stuff that never dies.

My favorite from Angra, undoubtedly, even though the power component often overshadows the prog one... The latest is phenomenal too, I liked it a lot.

I've always been drawn to ATDI, but unfortunately, I have nothing. I've seen some of their concerts on TV and I was blown away, really talented and energetic... I can't even imagine what the hell they do on a record.
Slayer Haunting The Chapel
Voto:
What I appreciate most about Haunting The Chapel is the immeasurable historical value, but anyway, the songs aren't bad either, especially Chemical Warfare... I'm waiting for the new album, which should come out after the summer.

One thing is certain: Zakk is a huge, fucking rocker. And please, let’s not talk about politics here; they’re already suffocating our souls these days. Let’s talk about music... BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU RRRRRRRRRRRRRRPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP !!!
Blackmore's Night Shadow Of The Moon
Voto:
Sorry Blackmore, but isn't the album from 1998? I don't want to be a pain with these things, but it seems to me that way.

I would marry Blackmore (I don't know if he agrees). One of the few "oldies" (if only there were more oldies like him) from the '70s who has managed to reinvent himself and play amazing music.
Mayhem Live in Leipzig
Voto:
Funny review! You forgot that it was recorded together with Darkthrone... Legendary live, to be precise, the poor little dead animals in the bag that Dead used to display at concerts were crows, and it was a tradition for the mischievous and cheeky Mayhem to impale pig heads during their shows and throw pieces of meat into the audience! Such charming humorists.
