Trent Gardner Leonardo - The Absolute Man

Nice review. But doesn't the CD bear the name of a band? Are there various collaborations among musicians?
Yes Close To The Edge

This CD is a milestone. Wakeman is one of the most influential prog keyboardists in history, and Jon Anderson with his vocal experiments is simply fantastic! There’s nothing more to say other than that Close to the Edge transcends and that's it. Nick... but goooood grief...

Sorry Moonchild, but the Devin Townsend Band has done quite a bit of work. I did a quick search on the web and saw that this damn band of Devin has released:
-Punky Brüster - Cooked on Phonics (a forgotten cd of POP-PUNK!!!!!!!)
-Ocean Machine - Biomech (Biomech was an album by Ocean Machine, another project of Devin that isn’t around anymore, so this nice cd ended up in the discography of the Devin Townsend Band, titled "Ocean Machine/Biomech")
-Infinity
-Offici al Bootleg (live with acoustic pieces)
-Physicist
-Terria
-Acceler ated Evolution
-Devlab (described by Devin as "heavy metal ambience")
These are the pieces of information I found, it’s a bit of a mess. I started to doubt mainly when you mentioned Ocean Machine and it crossed my mind: "wasn’t that a cd by the Devin Townsend Band?". I don’t know...... anyhow, GREAT DEVIN!!!

Uhm.....Stefano, your case is atypical......it's better if you see a metal doctor.....just kidding, right after Metallica and Iron Maiden I also got into black metal. JIGOROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MY METALHEAD!!!! Are you still on de baser? Your CDs are a blast, especially the Meshuggah ones.

Just for putting the children's choirs in these songs, Townsend should be locked up! Anyway, how are the albums of the Devin Townsend Band? At Gods of Metal, I wanted to get (not buy) one, but I couldn't do it.
AA.VV. Gods Of Metal 2005, I giornata

In truth, Lacuna Coil played after Obituary... well, it's a matter of market choices; it's known that Lacuna sells a lot more than Obituary.

Among the best editions of the Gods, no bullshit! Very well organized, with group acts one better than the other. The headliners were great: Slayer with a killer metal setlist and Iron with that damned Bruce who never stops for a moment. And then Strapping, Mastodon, Obituary, Evergrey, Dragonforce (ridiculously predictable and cheesy, but engaging like few... the singer, by the way, is a total showman!)

Let's say it was more of a little outburst from metaldiablo... anyway, everyone is free to listen to whatever they want, just as long as they don't label you as a "satanic psychopathic metalhead." At that point, VIOLENCE kicks in!
Great album!
