one last thing: I too, if I don't like a group, say that they don't suck a priori, without having heard anything from them; on this I agree. If you have something to tell me, before spouting nonsense, hold your breath as well, count to 10 (and beyond........) and respond to me in a civil and mature way, without that air of superiority you have like a teacher's pet.

For your information, I own the first two Slipknot albums, so I can assure you that I'm not talking without knowing what I'm saying. Slipknot is ALL ABOUT IMAGE, PERIOD. There's no substance; hate, anger, revenge, etc... are classic themes covered by heavy metal bands, and of course Slipknot had to address these themes—given the music they make, they had to conform as well. Go read the lyrics of the early Metallica, Megadeth, and my famous failed black metal bands, and you'll truly understand what REAL anger, REAL hate, and REAL malice are, you know-it-all prick. Slipknot is a band for 12-year-old kids who think they're acting tough and metal by listening to their cacophonous music, but they're just losers pounded by MTV and trends. Slipknot is a fad...

I'm not saying that if a band has technique they have to put it in every song, that's not the point. The problem is that Slipknot doesn't have that fucking technique; they make noise, they're not original. To understand what I'm talking about, just listen to some of my failed bands that play black metal (a genre that prioritizes atmosphere and attitude over technique)... I don't know... let's see... Satyricon (do you at least know who they are?), one of the most brilliant bands in the extreme scene, and, coincidentally, they're not technical. They are, however, moooooooooooooooolto more original than your nine clowns, they are expressive, they convey emotions, they're genius. Besides Satyricon, I could name a plethora of bands a hundred thousand times more expressive than your Slipknot. If we have to talk about musical imagination, Slipknot are like fish out of water.

So, Mr. Dave-warrior, mega expert in metal who has been studying music for 10,000 years, plays it professionally and blah blah blah...: 4/9 of Slipknot are former music academy professors; nice one, who the hell told you that, Totti? If you believe everything you’re told (especially about the nine clowns, a band created in a lab and managed by record labels), you’re in a bit of trouble.
