Fusillo, I know you haven't denied the charm of Prague; in fact, my post wasn't an attack on anyone, far from it. I'm glad you liked the review, but it's essential that you get the CD (if you're interested, of course), I will never stop repeating that it's worth it!

And if you're interested (and you also have a bit of luck!!!) get your hands on the TV show Il Segno Del Comando. I had found it in a second-hand shop at an affordable price, it was like 4 VHS tapes, but I still couldn't get it....... I slapped myself all evening.

Guys, you absolutely need to get this CD and the first self-titled one; you won’t regret it at all! I’ve never heard this kind of progressive before; there are some remnants of Malombra, but otherwise, it’s all original stuff. This is music played with balls cubed and with enviable taste and refinement. Definitely one of the best bands in the Italian underground scene in recent years.

@blood orchid: I'm not a big fan of metalcore; I only know the most famous bands like Killswitch Engage and Heaven Shall Burn that you mentioned... well, if Killswitch aren't metalcore... there are definitely many other better metalcore bands (the ones you named, sorry, I don't know them ;)). But I believe Killswitch are among the most important. Gojira Prog-Death/TechnoDeath???? No, sorry, but I disagree. Prog death includes bands like Death, Atheist, Cynic, Pestilence, Theory in Practice, Martyr, Sadist, and many others; in my opinion, Gojira are more post-hardcore and death metal, nothing prog. A band they could be compared to are Isis.

@Cronos: no problem Cronos, I recommend listening to this CD to form your own opinion about the band and to tell the damn critics to shove it. Thanks for the compliment, the Theory in Practice CD was Third Eye Function if I'm not mistaken (I hope I'm not saying something stupid.....), what a great band that was, even though my nickname refers to something completely different ;)

Annotation 2: "now the evolution of death that is most popular is metalcore for pretentious, lobotomized teenagers with teeth that still smell of milk" ... in my humble opinion, it is also pointless to compare the two genres (death and metalcore) as they are different and have few things in common; the discourse between the two genres does not exist. There has been an evolution in extreme music, and it is certainly not that of metalcore, but of bands such as Meshuggah, Strapping Young Lad, Arcturus, Solefald, Borknagar, Vintersorg, Fear Factory (to name a few bands that have been around for about the last ten years): riding the wave of all these, many other equally valid bands have emerged (Coprofago, Hacride, Textures, Trepalium or our own Ephel Duath) ... In recent years, death has evolved towards areas that mix electronics, jazz, and industrial, and not towards brutal, which has existed for 15 years and will always be there, so to speak ...

Annotation 1: Gojira are NOT metalcore; they are a mix of death metal and post-hardcore, which is quite different from metalcore. Metalcore bands are like Killswitch Engage, for example, who have absolutely nothing to do with the French band in question.....

Darn it, I wanted to write this review myself, even though Gojira shouldn't be treated this way, I'm sorry but I don't like this page.

Rece toooooooooooooooo funny, just like the album: here’s the best of truly alternative music (a bit less Norah Jones, but in this version she's great). Have you seen the video of Mojo? What a goofball Patton is...
