Joy Division Closer

I agree, I agree, I agree easy. I have to be honest: I listened to Closer once and never went back to it. It was simply boring to me (and a bit pathetic, to be honest). I approached Unknown Pleasures extremely hesitant, but I was wrong. That was a good album. That was the New Wave I liked. I give it a 2 because I remember that album being a real drag for me.

Skylark Divine Gates Part III - The Last Gate

I never said I don't care about relativism; I simply don't believe that the personal taste of an individual, taken in isolation, determines the artistic fate of a group or an artist. Music has its community of experts and critics, who are presumed to possess a certain culture and sensitivity... I would rather talk about music with them than with a fan of Renato Zero, with all due respect to the sorcini. But to discuss a certain topic, you need to know the topic, because I've seen far too many people speaking nonsense about what they don't know. Everything can be criticized and/or praised, but it always depends on the one who criticizes, and on the value of the critique they provide. All this to say: no to absolute relativism. Because in life, there are always opinions that are more authoritative than others, depending on the level of expertise, precisely of the one presenting the opinion.

Hemophiliacs, the rankings are a fact, I don't understand how you can bring everything back to a relativism that I honestly don't see applicable, relative in what sense? In the sense of being contextual to the country Italy? Then we agree (as already mentioned previously), but for the rest, that in Italy certain artists or groups sell a lot and are well-known compared to others, seems very clear to me... If you want to challenge me, you need to give me a valid reason though... If you use terms like envy and frustration in relation to music, well, I have to point out that you are at least exaggerating, because such heavy and grave terms are out of place if we are talking not only about Vasco, but about music in general... I'm not frustrated at home all day because Vasco sells and is liked and other groups are not... I can feel frustrated if a friend steals my girlfriend, then that’s where the term frustration has value. Just because I think differently from you doesn't mean I'm beating around the bush... it just means I think differently than you. I've written ten posts, for better or worse I've repeated some things, so they have a consistency among them.. it doesn't seem to me that I've been talking to the air...

I just want to remind you that not all successful bands have to suck blood; it's often the case, but there are always exceptions. Definetly maybe was a nice album, nothing exceptional, but pleasant. They made a few other decent songs later. Gas panic is the most underrated song by Oasis. 2.5
Nine Inch Nails Year Zero

Oh my goodness! Trent is a parody of himself in this album! Too many meaningless songs... and Trent's voice is unrecognizable. Then that pub electronic stuff, it just gets stuck in your head... I think of Host by Paradise Lost while I'm listening to it... and that's not a good thing, at all.

I haven't finished listening to it, but for now it's a flat 2. Please don't call them Nin... a tedium that's hard to explain, transposed into music. Anonymous, bland tracks, ZERO (to stay on theme) personality. No no, this record does not reflect me. The Downward Spiral mirrors me. And it's much more modern and current than Year Zero, even though it's now 13 years old.

The album also features some standout tracks, like Prelude 3.0, vermilion, The Nameless, and The virus of life, reminiscent of Reznor's work. Ah, the "industrial" intro of pulse of the maggots is really cool, even though the rest of the song is fluff.
