So, let me explain, it's true I hate Symphony X, the thing is there's a lot more melody here, the songs are nicer... it's not that I don't like the style of Symphony X, I just really don't like their songs (I hope I explained myself), besides, in this album there are fewer influences from the Symphony X side, they actually sound much more progressive!... Anyway, thanks everyone for the votes, Jake a band like Sieges Even?? Have you tried Amaran's Plight??? Or check out Fates Warning's Parallels... they're not exactly the same but I'm pretty sure you'll like them.

Vin, I'm replying late; in my opinion, it's even worse. There's too much melodic death in the style of Dark Tranquillity. Don't get me wrong, the music is beautiful, melodically it's a very valid album, the execution technique is excellent (and it shows), but it feels more mannered compared to Spirit and Ven.
