No, just no... aside from the fact that there are death metal singers who stand out, any names? Masvidal, Alexi Laiho, Steve Flynn (Atheist, maybe someone forgot the name :D), and then there's the singer of Quo Vadis, Carmelo Orlando, the immortal Chuck Schuldiner... they are all unique singers. It's not that melodic interludes aren't pleasant, but honestly? Well, from a band that is considered one of the gems in melodic death metal, I expect something more than just something nice and pleasant.
Johan 'Liiva' Axelsson: Axelsson is how the singer's name is reported :), I omitted the other two to avoid unnecessary elaboration.
It is not only static, but completely impersonal, without a hint of character... it’s disarmingly flat (but this is just personal taste so it should be taken as such :D) and in the end, it's not true that 97% of bands are repetitive... I used to think that too, but I had to reconsider. :D Cheers and sorry for going on!

Let's say that since this is your first review, you’re half forgiven :), but please never ever review Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Beatles, Dream Theater, and Metallica...the album is pretty ugly.

Come on... come on, Intermezzo Libertè is beautiful, the album is well played, even better produced, giving it one star would seem really unfair to me... otherwise I would have to give two stars to three quarters of the existing albums LOL! :D
