De Lorenzo: "Like all types of charismatic power, it will come to an end due to natural causes, as history itself testifies." To tell the truth, right now (but especially in the past) History itself is showing us a slightly different path. These charismatic leaders sometimes meet a traumatic end.

There are several errors in your last post. 1) In the last 15-20 years, the common denominator has not been misgovernment (that started, let's say, after the war: the public debt we carry is certainly not the result of the last 15-20 years) but rather the institutional-political-social imbalance brought about by Silvio Berlusconi's entry into the fray. 2) It is absolutely not true that the majority of Italians support Berlusconi; evidently, you have also fallen into the logical-media trap set up. Many have made this calculation from the last elections: 65.05% of eligible voters cast valid votes; the PdL received 35.25% of the votes based on that 65.05%. So here's a simple calculation: 0.6505 * 0.3525 = 0.2293... Which means about 23%, from which we should currently subtract those who also voted for Fini back when he merged into the PDL. This phantom "majority of Italians" that Berlusconi wants to save from everything, change everything, not respect the laws, etc., was (is) only 23% of Italians: a bit too few to be called the Majority of Italians. It seems that according to the latest polls, this "majority" has dwindled, and not by a little; Silvio knows this and says that elections now would be the ruin of Italians! Just think about it.

De Lorenzo, since you have this gift of foresight (for which even the newspapers quote you): what will happen now? That is, when will we get rid of the filthy burden? Best regards.

Great movie, no doubt about it. I watched it last night at the cinema and enjoyed it more than I have in a long time. It's not their masterpiece, but it's a really well-made film. It needs to be savored slowly. They've already talked about the stunning cinematography and the fantastic performance by Bridges (and the girl), and I would add that in this film the sense of humor (there's a lot of sarcasm, especially from Cogburn) wouldn’t have made sense. It's a dry, cold, and dreamy film, like that starry sky behind the exhausted horse.

Punny, as for the opening sentence, I must point out a typically Freudian logical error. Below is the sentence you should have written: "Obviously, I’m a piece of shit. In the sense that I attract flies with an ease that borders on a clinical case."
