Come on, today I feel like saying a few nonsense things. I was looking for a review of a cool album for cool people on Spin.com when my eye caught an 8/10 for Lady Gaga's album. What the hell, I think, even these idiots have fallen into the commercial trap. But damn it, I go read why they gave it an 8. And I read about echoes of the '80s, inflated volumes, stadium echoes, and Clarence Clemmons. Here’s the thing... why do they mention the '80s? To me, they're like honey to a fly. Even Rollingstone.com gives this album a 4/5. I still believe these guys give high scores to albums that will sell to win over as many readers as possible. I hadn't listened to anything yet, except for a few tracks from the old album, so I took a little trip on YouTube to check out the tracks from the latest album. Can I say that this crap of a woman has talent? I felt like a kid again listening to Jackson's Thriller and Madonna's early singles. I know you’re thinking, "But you’re messed up from the start..." but I believe that we need to distinguish the genre of music. There's rock. There's folk. There's metal and there’s even pop. Now, if someone disdains pop, obviously there's nothing to be done. But being a child of the '80s, I can hardly pull my feet out of the pop muck. This is just fucked up pop muck. But this Gaga has talent and also a voice. You believed it, huh?
