Some things I think about. 1) How sad is the phrase that there will always be a need for a woman to bear children because "I have little faith in the possibilities of science to procreate outside a female womb." Aside from the fact that, scientifically speaking, I believe this is quite easy to achieve. But beyond that, why should a woman write such a sentence? Why stoop to this level, as if to say that you will never be free of us because we will be the ones to carry on the species? This seems to me to be a real own goal, one of those made with a dive and a handball. You women are as necessary as we men for everything! Not just to have children—why belittle yourselves like this? 2) The concept of 10 great women BEHIND 10 great men saddens me quite a bit. Why not write a book about ten great women and leave it at that? 3) Finally, among those mentioned, I only see women of character, like so many I encounter every day who pull the weight for the whole family. How many mothers work their asses off while the husband goes hunting, fishing, and biking? How many women silently endure unspeakable abuses for the sake of their children? Ultimately, from your words, it seems to me like a book that's a bit too "catchy-for-women-seeking-revenge."
