When the previous album came out, I think he said in an interview that he was a true and tough artist like Dylan and not like that sellout Springsteen. Yes, maybe it wasn't a necessary review, maybe a review that adds very little, maybe, maybe... but the album is a great album! Spreka, for me, compared to In Utero, has an "urgency," a sincerity, and a freshness that are clearly superior. In Utero is more "refined," more sophisticated, more constructed. And I agree with the reviewer (who, if I interpreted correctly, was 3 years old when it came out!!!): this is still one of those albums worth knowing. Then again, everyone has their own tastes.

Agreeing with Donjunio on the merits but not on the conclusions. This remains, in U2's discography, a record rated 3.5. In other words, a good album, perhaps also because it had a magnificent sound.
