Jimmi, you’re not being objective, I "feel" you. I don't think a record should be labeled a masterpiece just because of the album cover. I mean, an album should be judged for its music, right? Like a painting should be evaluated for what it depicts and not for the frame, right? I understand that this LP has become legendary, but I've always been bothered by the fact that it's remembered as the "banana album." Oh, don’t get me wrong, the cover is wildly beautiful. But it’s not like it has become more important than the content (read this as a provocation)?

While acknowledging that there is some really great music in here, the perfect alignment of the phenomena/trend/cult/art that this CD has enjoyed (not least the cover...........) has probably had some influence in its favor.

I chime in, beautiful album. One curiosity, why did you give "only" 4 stars, Mad Pianist?

Wander, the wait has been well worth it. A great description for an album I'm unfamiliar with due to my ignorance. It's really hard to find "kids" so passionate about classical!! Grasshopper, I'm sorry about your unwanted exile!!! A piece of advice: go into a record store with a full wallet...

(Turkish compliments on the new dress, if I may, from my tiniest, the cover photos of the albums on the homepage might be more visible if they were larger). Ivory is painfully true. For the elephants!

Oh my God, you did it! You reach a 3 with considerable effort (on my part, it would actually be a 2.63) for the last 5 lines.

I've always liked "veined rock with country folk"! So let's go for it! Good job.
