Umberto Lenzi Milano Odia: La Polizia Non Può Sparare

Axl... exactly. But let’s not take every post or criticism as a personal attack, okay? We’re talking about cinema, not about us. That said, I meant that Tarantino, at least with those two films, has surpassed many, if not all, of his masters, including the Italian ones he drew inspiration from.

Axel... fanaticism for Tarantino? Besides the fact that we're here for Lenzi's review, Tarantino has directed two historical films: Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. I want to highlight one thing about Tarantino's films in comparison to this one by Lenzi, for example: the dialogue. The dialogue in Tarantino's films is like fireworks; it's the only thing that elevates many films. And then that incredible and unrepeatable mix of violence, irony, fantasy, sarcasm, cruelty, action, extreme editing, actors, etc. that has made cinema history. Lenzi, in my opinion, is on a whole different planet. I would actually say on a satellite.

Are Fijell fake? In what sense? Perhaps you all are taking yourselves just a bit too seriously? A little bit, eh! And my comment was just a little provocation, come on! At most, you could have told me: death metal has nothing to do with hard rock; they could both be great albums in their own right. Given the prickly and resentful reactions (damn, this album must really be a must-have; I might just go buy it at Virgin and listen to it this morning), I apologize if I’ve hurt anyone’s (fragile) sensibilities, but not Maxweber's, who I believe doesn’t have any. Maxweber: how many words have you written to me? Damn it! Does your head hurt now?

Electricone, I commented precisely because you wrote it, I always follow you. Fjieell, okay if you say so, I'll be quiet! :-)

"The important thing is not the destination but how you get there. Are you sure you've savored all the interludes?" Huh? Sorry... but if I go from a crappy album to a magnificent one, I mean... from "Clandestine" by Entombed to "Led Zeppelin" by Led Zeppelin... why should I put up with mediocre interludes? I will only seek the best.

Mmm, I tried to read it years ago: I found it highly indigestible, like a wedding feast with meat courses on August 14th. Instead, the review is captivating.

Italian is important, as Nanni used to say.
