Oh well done, my dear friend, so modestly neo-conservative and also the "we're-all-nicer-to-the-little-blac k-people-in-the-world" buddy freebird! Fantastic, at the first criticism you rush to get the nickname that criticizes you off your back? How do you even live? Get some fresh air or else you risk someone tagging your head.

Come on Iside!!!!!! However, I completely agree with the first part of your review. Too much noise. And the whole iPod jammed into our ears is a bit "sinister"... we increasingly seem like remote-controlled automatons. We started years ago by talking loudly to ourselves while walking down the streets. Do you remember the first mobile phones? Now no one pays them any attention anymore. Just like no one pays attention to millions of young people who, from the moment they leave the house in the morning until they go to sleep, are blasting random decibels into their heads.

Well... the editorial is indeed immature but... it really seems like a well-off young person who has peeked out from the glossy wonderful world we live in and has caught a whiff of the stench. Look, this editorial showcases a very truthful snapshot of today’s youth, but also of yesterday. In fact, perhaps today we have more opportunities to understand what’s “beneath” us through the internet. I agree with Kosmo, it’s endearing to see how a boy can discover an obvious truth and be so taken aback by it. Especially with reasoning and deductions that are so extraordinarily obvious and a little horrifying. For instance, this sentence: "There are no distinctions between whites, blacks, yellows, reds; all men are equal, and the earth belongs to no one. We should not fear foreigners because there is no reason to." Why do you write this, dear reviewer??? If you had written "fresh water is delicious" or "the sunset is beautiful," you would have said the same thing. Obvious things horridly discovered on Facebook...

I quickly read the link from Kosmo... well, the most shocking thing is that repeated and obsessive use, almost like a mantra, of the adjective "rich", or even used as a noun "the rich". But rich in what? What are they rich in? And what about the poor who haven't resolved their conflict with money... This Alfio seems to forget the salary/price_of_groceries&rent&bill s relationship, simplifying it to salary/survival. This Mr. Alfio just seems to be discrediting those who literally play the hero every day to survive in this jungle and make it, with a few wounds, "to the end of the month". On whose minds can such simplistic thoughts take root? I think of "cults" and gurus. "Do like me, I also became rich!". If it weren't -also- dangerous, it would be ridiculous.

I'm sorry, Sfascia... but to be believed now, you should publish a nice review about it...

I can't believe it. I also read it (those thousand little pages) years and years ago. I was young and carefree. And I remember them. You haven't read that book! Cimmino's choice to read it to forget a woman is right, but nothing and no one can overcome love. Right? P.S. Cimmino: the review made my head spin...
