Preface from a know-it-all, I am very interested in Drone music. The drone originated in the East and belongs to Eastern culture; it was La Monte Young (the master composer of John Cale from the Velvet Underground) who first transplanted it here in the West. From there, minimalism was born, which consists of very few notes (the minimum allowed) repeated in a timeless vortex that aspires to trance. Great drone composers include, for example, Terry Riley, Steve Reich, Tony Conrad, La Monte... many in kraut, such as Popol Vuh, Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream, and also Ash Ra Tempel (but in a more psychedelic and rock version). Then there’s the 90s revival from New Zealand with many bands like Pin Group, Dadamah, Roy Montgomery, Hash Jar Tempo, and then there are the Americans Bardo Pond (like Bufo Alvarius, for example). I highly recommend the true inspirers of SUNNNOOOO))))) which are Earth, who with "2" created a milestone of the drone genre, but influenced by Metal, transcendental Metal... it’s a blast :)

At 16, I was also crazy about this band, but then I realized that Cobain WAS NOT A GREAT MUSICIAN, but rather a decent arranger of simple and immediate songs. Unfortunately for you, the truly free history of rock was made by others, like Jeff Cotton, for example... I couldn't even name many because I listen to bands and rarely care to check their lineup or watch their videos; my rock fetish is nearing 0. Long live the philosophy of the Bulbiiiii and the post!

Pure bullshit. "Posturing as a poet doesn’t make Cristiano Godano a poet," that's pure garbage. The lyrics (redundant and verbose) fit terribly on a banal melodic fabric (ripped off from Sonic Youth)...as they used to say: Sonic Youth + Zanichelli = Marlene Kuntz. True, a crazy piece of shit. ONE. And I give you a one too because your knowledge of noise is likely zero, like almost everyone who listens to Godano. Study.

Pure shit... the usual Italian revival bullshit that fools the newbies. Go to Franz Zappare and get the hell out of here, you fake alternative posers.

I got it and I enjoy it. It doesn't look bad next to the giants of jazz: Coltrane, Ayler, Taylor, Sun Ra, Pharoah Sanders, Coleman... this is definitely top 5 rock material. Reason in Pretazzo.

Yes, but art doesn't exist; it's just a word. In any case, this is a free jazz album hybridized with rock, and I really like it right now (maybe after having kicked Coltrane, Coleman, Tristano, Sun Ra, Ayler, Taylor into my ears)... if you're inclined towards free jazz, you'll love it... I think.

So dated. Take "White Light/White Heat" by the VU or the self-titled album by the Doors, they haven't aged a day. They're still way too fucking ahead of their time; this is a dated record with historical value of 5, but what a drag this garage stuff is. Overrated.
