In my opinion, Jane's Addiction had the most colorful and varied crossover of their generation, blending metal, psychedelia, hard rock, punk, new wave, funk, and folk. For me, the first 2 minutes of "Three Days" and "Summertime Rolls" are enough to elevate them to the Olympus of Rock.
