Hüsker Dü New Day Rising
Voto:
What to say after this terrifying list (in a positive sense), I have nothing else to counterattack with; I'm not faced with the usual Stradlini collection, thank goodness, but I still don't understand why DU can't find a place on this list since I see GERMS (whom I love and don't find that different from the early Husker Du) and especially the 3 Allegria Raggazzi Morti, which, no offense, I just can't stand.
Hüsker Dü New Day Rising

In general, I feel true psychological violence more in strangers, in freaks rather than in nice guys well-integrated into society with slicked-back hair who go to Dorsia to eat like in American Psycho by B.E. Ellis.

What a coincidence??? Damn, I'm one of the many who comments, so why did you show up, dear little ghost?? You always appear to ruin things, then what a coincidence.....
Hüsker Dü New Day Rising

The review is pointless; it would take more words for an album like this. The last track is not useless at all, as you say. On the contrary, it represents the psychedelic and acid side of the band, another masterpiece, so it’s better to get informed before shooting down.
Hüsker Dü Flip Your Wig
Voto:
No, Flip is definitely more accomplished than Candy, which I consider the weak link along with Warehouse. Together with New Day Rising, it represents the greatness of the pop-core writing from Mother Husker.
Swans White Light From the Mouth of Infinity
Voto:
The litanies of Jarboe, I wouldn’t know whether to define them as paradisiacal or morbid and esoteric. Gira was a genius and knew how to exploit the gifts of that woman, as seen in the results. Even in a hallucinatory album like Children of God, the litanies of Jarboe sound in every way like mystical prayers to the Popol Vuh.

What can I say in front of records like this??? The Swans until 'Cop' were something else, but from 'Children of God' on, Gira lays the cards on the table; he is both the demon and God united in an act of irretrievable love and hate. This album is a masterpiece; if 'Children of God' is a 10, this one is a 9 and ¾. Zigghio, I also await your thoughts on this masterpiece.

cyco for me, you're great and you know it, this album really sucks but the others, as you say, were already there.

caz on this record I support you, but try to examine Sky Valley in all its facets and not just for the guitar riffs; it's obvious that the foundation of their sound is different from that of the early Floyd (experimenters of psychedelia and electronics, for example, even Voivod, who were a band that churned out riffs, paid homage to Floyd, just listen to their Astronomy Domine, damn it, and they are a band that according to your reasoning shouldn't have anything to do with Floyd.
