!!me ...be more careful next time: Staley doesn’t want the N!.. just check before writing nonsense.. I won’t get involved with line 77 and the review...

As a cyclist, I wish I could have been there for that lesson; I can only imagine the satisfaction!

I knew that after a bit more careful listening I would love this record... so I adjust my rating: a solid four on the rise... actually, something more (4.5).

I share the love for this group, as well as for the pink mountaintops, whose first album was better than the second... just like it happens today... If the first one is a 5-star and even more... I would give this one 4 stars at most... Anyway, it still needs to be ground, ground, ground... I absolutely want to see them live when, if they come... sperèm.

Forget them yes, maybe... but not for me... and not for those who love them! They will remain my favorite band, a powerful musical image carved into my memory. I hadn't realized the review was missing; otherwise, I would have written it myself...

long, long as a review... but since it’s about Sophia, Robin, God Machine, I read it gladly. I’ve seen them in concert five times... including once in an acoustic solo version. Never disappointed, and every time I hope and think - I know it’s a vain hope... - how wonderful it would be if they played a piece by God Machine... Yes, yes, I know it’s an illusion, but I like to think about it. And to think that that day I went to see the God Machine concert (was it in '92...?), but it was canceled at the last minute... Sic! Anyway, you can’t argue about Sophia, although I always hope and believe that the time has come for a change in direction towards less acoustic sounds... The river song above all.

I liked the review, but I have a different opinion... I have defended Josh Homme's changes in direction multiple times and I still do, but I appreciate him less than before. This was my fifth concert of the Queens... and it was the one I liked the least... What can I say about when we were barely a hundred/two hundred people at Cascina Monluè appreciating them? They were certainly rougher but equally effective and more direct... or at Bloom the following year, where the volume was at the limits of tolerable... And Mark Lanegan... I think we were at Transilvania?? Dave Grohl on drums? or that crazy guy Olivieri always shirtless??... I hope they take a step back and that this doesn't become a "job" to make albums in the same vein as this one... which, needless to say, I don't find among the best... on the contrary.

I saw them in Milan the day before... I confirm the impressions about the sound quality of the concert, their skill, confirmed by free improvisations that are a pleasure for my – and everyone’s – ears, and the absolute simplicity and honesty of the members, so friendly and so "normal" in the face of the music business... rating: 5 out of 5!!

One of my favorite albums. Staley and Cobain are tragic heroes, victims of their weaknesses. They will remain the icons of a generation (mine, in fact..). My thoughts go out to them on this rainy Friday.
