You said it all. I almost forgot, is there still anyone around who doesn't own this jewel?

Wow, what a review! I listened to the CD again while reading it; I only have two albums, VH1 and 1984. The latter always seemed a bit plastic to me, a product of its time, but listening to it again, I have to admit it has some depth.

It's wonderful to find attentive and knowledgeable people with whom to share the passion for music. I don't deny my inability to write with simple sensitivity a review of an album that has moved or particularly engaged you. However, I see that this is my own problem.

A brief review. She is an artist like few others, the album is beautiful just like the others she made afterwards.

A very enjoyable review to read and quite calm, I have never delved into Mendelssohn and it's definitely a big flaw, I will remedy that now.

Apart from a few gross transcription errors of mine (see Gurdjieff or Jarrett's Ts), I take delight in having stimulated some of the reviewers I respect the most on the site. That said, I wanted to emphasize how the aspect of voting, in this case, is undoubtedly relative; the 4 I gave is a 4 in relation to these musical aspects, certainly not to other reviews. Furthermore, it was, so to speak, not meant to diminish the content compared to any other Jarrett album, since we are venturing into a very subjective value. Rather, I sought to contextualize the work in question and consequently evaluate it within his vast production. In conclusion, I personally find it beautiful but not a cornerstone of his discography.

The album (unfortunately I bought it at full price) is simply obscene; I'll say more, it is exactly at the antipodes of music. By the way, I don't even care about the content and thus his thoughts. There, I've taken a stone out of my shoes.
