I don't know if it sounds better, because unfortunately a) I can't turn up the volume properly or else my daughter wakes up or gets scared b) I don't have a decent enough setup to catch the differences c) I'm deaf from birth, I listen to music through the vibrations on the floor. But I felt the vibrations of Funhouse by the Stooges, 180g edition, in the stereo of that crazy audiophile brother-in-law of mine (one of those who has pre-everything and a US Army tube amplifier that heats up like a coal stove), and I have to say the bass was like a permanent wave. I conclude by saying that I choose the vinyls I want to get based on whether I can play them at home or not, so stuff like folk, soft psychedelic, and dirty garage (which the little one likes in the morning). In short, a good way to mask your unhealthy fetish mixed with overwhelming consumerism to your partner.

I stopped like Carlo at Talkie Walkie, but to be honest, I only love the first 3 (I even include Premiere Symptomes), which are really beautiful, so much so that I’m buying them again on vinyl.

Sorry, Fosca, but urgent physiological needs don't allow for technicalities, especially in the morning.

beautiful, strange that I hadn't commented on it yet. The voice on Is It Wicked Not To Care would make me fall in love even with a stone.

All the references you brought up in the comments (synth pop, Bronski Beat, Interpol, and White Lies) are exactly what I needed to finally produce the daily load of steaming crap that, given the late wake-up, I couldn't manage to do before coming to the office. Thanks and cotillions to everyone, especially to the editors.
Quentin Tarantino Bastardi Senza Gloria

Watched it on Friday. A complex judgment for me. Unfortunately, I can't fully enjoy it when Tarantino goes "serious," and drips on the surreal. This film is not very Tarantinonian; it didn't excite me as much as I had read above, but visually it's always enjoyable, with two long and beautiful tracking shots like the opening scene, a kind of showdown at the ok corral between Landa and the Frenchman, and the grand scene at the inn. The secondary characters are fantastic, Goebbels, the soldier from the film (who I already disliked from Goodbye Lenin), but my favorite remains Hugo Stiglitz, the Gestapo officer killer.

I've been wanting to listen to it for a while. Now you've sparked my curiosity. Beautiful review, by the way. And it's time to talk about Roy Harper, damn it.

I saw them at Velvet in 2003, take that! But the dates are all in Northern Europe and not here with us unfortunate Mediterraneans.

I agree with what lukino just wrote! I'm curious to see if they can come up with a single from this madness! Have you seen the deluxe packaging they sell on the site? Such a kitschy, fuzzy thing that you almost want to have!

I've never understood why they translated The Dude as il Drugo (which, by the way, isn't even Italian, but a distortion of Russian, moreover used by Burgess in A Clockwork Orange) Why?
