Yes, indeed, I realize that, but the rest is just too conventional to pique my interest. However, they are also the only two with almost psychedelic interludes, which made the previous one beautiful.

Web 2.0 is the devil, it's clear by now. It's the release valve for every moron who couldn't previously express their meteorico-cerebrali functions, or at least, when they did, they were rightly hit in the face with fish. Thank goodness we do it on deb, forget those fucking moderators.

Damn, you really reminded me of my personal disappointment album 2010! Mastered because it has a couple of tracks, especially Thin Domination and Infinite Corridors, but the mystical aura of the previous one is nowhere to be found. 3 for excess.

Danver, I probably misunderstood, I agree with you. I should put the album back on CD, because the first one and the last two were really great. The rest left me a bit bewildered.

But weren't the Radian the ones who were on tour with Slint 5 years ago?

Thank you, everyone. @odra: I really dig this cheap design, I was about to buy it on vinyl just for that! @lukin: is the new White Hills on Thrill Jockey??? I'm rushing to look it up and if you find anything, let me know! Anyway, speaking of krautisms and hypnobands, has anyone heard Geoff Barrow's album from Portishead, under the moniker Beak>??? A bit heavy, but my pituitary gland tells me that next year it will blow up in the neural zone under the hypothalamus. Also, the Blogothèque link with Boom singing Transparent Radiation is a gem!

In my opinion, this album has a couple of good tracks, but if you were already a bit older back then, you probably skip it. @lukin: I only had fake paninari; in high school, the metal/grunge trend was already starting and I don’t remember a single person at my school wearing branded clothes (to make matters worse, even those who liked to dress well bought dirty and used stuff because it was cool; at least I helped the family budget!) Anyway, yes, it sounds a bit like the first BRMC album (which I liked, by the way). Rick Astley is one of my worst memories; my older sister always shoved him down my throat, goddammit! Oh, just to fuel the hate, on December 26th where I live they "dared" to throw this party here. I was about to recruit a couple of ex-metalheads I know (one of whose last name is "Primitivo," I rest my case) and go demand some sc(i)alpi: Ingrandisci questa immagine

@Geb: nice to meet you, my name is psycho, 34 years old next May, and I have the same syndrome as you. But I am stubbornly trying to fight it. Not by buying less (if I don’t stop, I seriously risk staying in the shit, and I even have a family, for heaven’s sake!), but by listening more. It's tough, but I'm managing it little by little. Of course, I might discard things that with time would have been interesting, but that's the price to pay. However, unfortunately, I also used to listen to 1/20 of today's albums, but I enjoyed them more! @bletch: the linked album is a review I was supposed to do last year, by Hush Arbors; they released another one just a month ago, but I haven’t listened to it, folk melodic stuff, but a bit pissi pissi.

Attention, as I write this the end of the world is near. Soon, citing inspirations like Technotronic and Snap will be very up to date, and then music will implode along with us "sane" listeners. I really liked these crocodiles, without any pretension (even though I think they're just two losers who take themselves way too seriously). Of course, longevity and originality do not reside here, but at least I tried to get closer to the "enemy."

@giola: I was thinking the same thing lately, but it's also a very subjective matter. For years, I've followed the new psychedelic trends, and after a while, I too feel like there's not much new out there. However, for someone who's just getting into it now, there are plenty of exciting novelties. It's all about the overlap of what you've listened to over the years; the more time passes, the less interest there is. @Ole: If you check my profile, I posted it last night!
