I didn't understand who Kaiser Sosa was even after finishing the movie and leaving the cinema. But I figured it out thanks to my daughter, who, after watching the last episode of Lost, started talking to Jacob, who took her back in time to announce it to me while I was waiting in line at the cinema in '95.

found yesterday after I had forgotten about this nice review! And also a great record from what I heard a little in the car, very Neutral Milk

I felt it because the previous one had two or three cool pieces, but maybe it's not the right time for me, as this last one left me a bit underwhelmed...

I should retrieve it because when it came out (like a year and a half ago?) I barely heard it and it wasn't great. Thanks for reminding me and it's nice to see you again, ziqu.

I tried to listen to it and three times in a row I didn’t finish the third track. Maybe in another life, I would spend half the time I have left trying to enjoy it.

Hi, you little queer! What are you doing? As soon as I pass through Rome, I'll call you.

Wait a minute, I like the guitar-heavy funkadelic stuff, that is, the first 3/4 albums, let’s say not One Nation Under a Groove to be clear. So the stuff contemporary to the first Sly.

I've always preferred this to There's a Riot... which I've always found a bit "cold." Here there's that delirium of Sex Machine that makes the album worth the price. But I really like the funkadelics even more! For anyone who wants to realize what kind of hyper-drugged character Sylvester was, well, check this out:

I hate you, you know that? The only feasible date for me (always around 150 km) was Bronson in Ravenna, but cristobal de la frontera, it was on a Monday. And I was coming off a weekend with guests so I barely slept. I would have gone just to buy the new White Hills on beautiful vinyl at reasonable prices. Mondo Drag hesitated whether to write a few lines, but I’m in the same boat as you; between work and my daughter, I can’t hear anything and I’m months late on everything (which isn’t too bad, because it gives me time to properly appreciate the records). Oh, and I’ll also miss Wooden Shjips and add Archie Bronson Outfit and Dead Meadow (at least I’ve seen those).

Hey, have you listened to the latest Different Realities? I might change my mind later, but for now, it's my favorite, especially because they put a sock in the girl’s mouth (maybe something else, but let's skip that), and the second side of the vinyl is a single track with a pretty nice psychorock finale.
