I take the piece of guanciale out of my mouth and I tell you, Frankie, that the reason you like those nasty bastards and this cover is because you didn't live through the 80s, so they are for you what the early 70s and the 60s were for me—a time imagined and with a vintage effect. Of course, there's nothing wrong with that, but I'm surprised that the bad taste of the 80s has been revived, especially in fashion; that’s something so obvious that sometimes I have doubts about people's mental health.

pass me the Mother unit that I couldn't find! Samsara sticazzi experiment found yesterday but still haven't listened to. The heavy fuzz stuff is really getting on my nerves, but my options are so limited, and the time I have is so little that I either dive into things I know or into old stuff (like the vinyl of Sound of Confusion by Spacemen 3).

I would smash the "righeira" glasses in the face of anyone who wears them, Appestà! @bartle: voice seven thunders arriving today, revivalist album of the year! Instead, how about Mondo Drag? Rangda (Ben Chasny aka six organs, Sir Richard Bishop, Chris Corsano on drums)?

praise to pixies who reminded me that I had to download this series from zibino's little page, and yesterday I watched the first episode... I'm getting ready to watch the rest between tonight and tomorrow. Chapter Lost: it would be worth writing a few lines, but it's all too vast and (in light of the simplistic ending) without explanations, it would be a pointless effort. Let's say that if it had lasted three seasons it would have been the DEFINITIVE series, especially for some perfectly cast characters (especially Locke and Ben). But in light of the ending, I don't think I could recommend its arduous viewing to everyone.

marò cover from jail! Unfortunately, the Cozza-Casady sisters were never digested, and in a historic review, they were even defined as "uterine purge." Nice review.

beautiful as always, too bad I don’t have the speakers because I think I'll remember these. And to think that in the late '80s I listened to many of the groups you mention, and I even bought back Three Feet High And Risin' by De La Soul! I agree about the evolution of hip hop, especially in light of the "social" premises it started from. However, it has always been very marketable, especially to the white American audience perpetually burdened by guilt towards mother Africa. The link to Julius Irving is absolutely amazing!!!

Fest calls, psycho answers: I was with you on all the latest Keys, but I tried to listen to it and I think it has its reasons. As Purpulan says, much better than Attack and Release, which was definitely more of a compromise. This one takes a stand, whether it's welcome or not; at least it's a clear shift in the duo's sound (which in this album is anything but a duo, given the omnipresent organ and bass); they had few alternatives - either a return to their garage roots or a decisive soul turn that they already had in their DNA. In my opinion, the only (but major) flaw is the excessive length and too many uninteresting tracks. And I'll also overlook the somewhat overly compressed sound of the drums that doesn't sit well with me. But some tracks, like "struscia funk," Afroamericans do it better, I really like. But damn, the trilogy Big Come Up, Thickfreakness, Rubber Factory is unbeatable.

Every now and then I come back to this album, but for the past year I've given it away. So I just got it back for €3.30, shipping included on Amazon. What a great luck. And what a great ass.

After having almost automatically hated the previous one, reviews scattered across magazines and the internet piqued my curiosity, and the other day I picked up an original copy while I was in Miami. 9 euros and a bit of fear, honestly no way I’d pay 18 back home. I’ll pass Zairee for a sensible comment on the music (but just knowing Sonic Boom mixed it brings a smile to my face). Ah, in the same little shop I got Sound of Confusion by Spacemen 3 on vinyl, but most importantly, I grabbed a record that a Flaming Lips fan like you can’t let slip by; they’re a bunch of youngsters from Florida called Electric Bunnies, and they’re the reincarnation of the Lips from the first three albums; coming soon to these screens.
