Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti Before Today

I think I had house arrest... but honestly, it meant very little to me.

I honestly don't understand why this is considered an inspiration for the glo-fi movement (what a ridiculous definition, I don't know who invented it but they deserve a few punches to their lower incisors). I had an album, I believe from 2005, that sounded very 60's, far from 80's and late 70's AOR atmospheres. I have this one but I need to find the courage to listen to it. So different from the early albums (I need to find the folder where the aforementioned album ended up).

Let’s all toast to the cosmic tits of dear Stacia, who if I’m not mistaken is now an artist in the English countryside, incredibly well-dressed.

Cappero Jargon, I missed your review! @kosmo: thank you so much!

Beautiful images, these are my favorite reviews. Describing music in such detail, as I sometimes end up doing, is blasphemy. I had something earlier from the Oresund, but I've never managed to recover it. Can anyone help me?

Congratulations to the big brother, so you'll have the edition with the Hawkwind log inside! Envy! I have the original first English pressing but without the logbook. It's my favorite album of theirs.

@nes: look, I studied Japanese at university and I was also an avid manga reader in the early 90s. As soon as I met a couple of pathetic, obsessed Nipponophiles at university, I got repulsed and quit. Cosplay is an abomination, whether practiced by Japanese or Westerners; when I lived in Tokyo, I saw all sorts of things. And it's not that I don't share the idea of dressing up, but half the people who do it and with whom I spoke have such a stereotypical and monomaniacal view of Japan that I regularly felt like opening their skulls with a grinder to see what was inside. I hope for He Man that photo gets taken down; otherwise the magical world of figa (from Paul, just to quote an anime) won't be visiting often.
Mogwai Special Moves - Box Set

Damn, look who it is! Beautiful lines, I share the drool over vinyl purchases and various box sets. I abandoned Mogwai after "Come On Die Young" because I was risking suicide. I have terrible memories from that period and, in turn, of the album (not in quality but in evoked atmospheres). I also liked "Ten Rapid."

oh come on, don't take the He Man and Skeletor links, these guys are suicidal!

Sorry, but this review is a bit of a cannabinoid delirium too... @popolo: damn, wasn't Woronzow just the label of that Bevis Frond leftover? I need to look up some of those bands you mentioned shortly. @bartle: the important thing is not to feel "too" close; I don't want to make it an aesthetic issue, but I do it simply for my daughter, I wouldn't want her to grow up with a dad who suddenly discovers he's a drag queen. Anyway, 7x7 for life, what a song, god damn! @migliore: it's no coincidence that Hawkwind are considered the English Grateful Dead. With their pros and cons too. I like everything up to Hall of the Mountain Grill, then I profess ignorance but I remember they degenerated into sounds similar to Ozric Tentacles, which I abhor. It seems to me that someone recommended a cool '80s album, but I don't remember anymore. @nes: I must say that I like almost everything from that period, so Brainstorm is always in my heart and especially in my mind.
