Sooner or later I’ll see it, I agree about Dark Knight, a real drag, but I got Marvel mixed up with DC, the dormant comic book fan in me almost got angry! Both Marvel and DC have been basing their superhero stories more on their problems than on their superheroics for over 25 years now (forgive the ugly neologism). It’s no coincidence that they used to say ā€œsuperheroes with super problems!ā€ So sometimes they’re way too introspective (Batman above all).

The cover would be the only reason that would make me listen to Weezer, who unfortunately have annoyed me since the days of Buddy Holly, but it seems they have a substantial following.

I dusted it off today, considering that the latest Mines seems like a real gem, maybe even too packed with ideas.

finally heard it. There is very little left of the truly psychedelic compared to the two previous mantric albums (especially Ghost), as fiquata writes. But without making the usual comparisons, as an album itself, it’s not bad, 5 tracks that I think are very beautiful, especially the first one, the title track, Yellow Elevator, Entrance Song, and the only psychedelic one, True Believers. The rest of the tracks leave me with few memories, in my opinion. It would be a 3.5. Ah damn it, I even missed the concert. Fuck work.

If they had played less than 2 hours away, I would have seen them again, but given the lineup, I missed very little. Defining Amber as a hot woman, even just for fun, is an insult to the myriad of women oscillating between beautiful and stunning that you see around. I mean right on the street, not on TV. She had quite a noticeable belly back in 2005, I can’t imagine what she looks like now.

The aforementioned desire was fulfilled this spring, but I'm back to say that the album is still cool, even if it loses steam halfway through. However, the latest video of See The Leaves is absolutely crazy to watch:

The first one was one of my records from that year, it hadn't thrilled me, I should retrieve it from the HD.

The beauty is that the aforementioned gentlemen have been replaced by those who lived through the '80s and say the same, and in turn will be replaced by those who lived through the '90s, and so on, for ages to come. Amen.

Beautiful Vivis, I would add that it seems to me that on Sunday Afternoon they even include an electric jug, just to explicitly pay homage to the spiritual fathers 13th Floor Elevators. For now, I won’t vote; I’m waiting to see them (God willing) this Friday at the Bronson and grab the wonderful vinyl. For now, I like it, but there’s something that’s missing.
