Elf Power Walking With The Beggar Boys

I saw them last year in Ancona and they weren't bad... plus in Tokyo many of their CDs are cheap. I'll give it a try. Nice performance.

Can you explain how you listened to the CD? Do you have 4 stereos? Rec is a bit stripped down, but I already knew it.

Really embarrassing rhymes, I agree... I haven't listened to the CD, I don't want to ruin the great impression that the last "You all look ...." left me, so I'll save my yen for more meaningful CDs. Anyway, I've noticed that the guys aren't quite clear on what genre to play, since it seems like they change everything with every album. Maybe I'm wrong, but they seem a bit unfocused to me. Of course, to each their own. Bye and take care.

I agree with Kosmo, my favorites reach volume 4. But I admit that this one has megalomania, which I really like... and then also Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (the song) is almost worth the purchase of the eponymous album. Who of you got the live album that came out last year, "Past Lives," which is the reissue of the official live album by the Sabs plus a CD with recordings from their early period? If you don't have it, you're missing out because the second CD is a bomb! Bye

Hi Rocky, I just downloaded Other Way Out by Sun Dial and I already want the original! Really very nice! As usual, thanks for the recommendations. Bye
The Beta Band Heroes To Zeros

I’ll hear it better Hum, but as I told you in the chat, Beta Band hasn’t done much good after the 3 EPs. And it pains me to say it since this last one is, along with Deserter's Song, one of the best gems of the mid-'90s. Bye (provisional vote for the album after 3 listens)

Clarifications on the record: the real rating would be a 3.5 but, as we know, no se puede. Anyway, look for it online because I don't know if it's available, nor if it's worth it (that is, definitely 20 euros). As usual, I found it for just under 10 euros in the huge used record park of delirious Tokyo. Bye
P.S.: I hope you keep making the same comments, Hal!
Brain Donor Love, Peace & Fuck

a record I've never really listened to properly but it doesn't seem too bad, maybe I'll get around to it, or I'll finish downloading what I think is the next one, which has the most stupid yet intelligent title in the world: "too freud to r'n'r, too jung to die." I don't mind the first one by Lupine Howl even though in the long run it gets a bit boring.

But isn't it "last but not least"? Maybe I'm just bad at English... Anyway, Silent, try to take care of your language, meaning don't try to make the sentences heavy and write simply... "focusing on philosophical thoughts about life these days"... you get your point across, but there are lighter ways to express the same concept, and that are syntactically more correct. Well, sorry for this teacher-like criticism. Bye
