Well done, well done, and once again well done. A nice review, light and easy to read but full of references and descriptive. I wanted to get this album, but after various listens at Tower Records, I realized it wasn't for me. You're right to be strict with your ratings; you shouldn't give 5s randomly. Bye.
McLusky The Difference Between Me And You Is That I'm Not On Fire

"My band is better than your band, we got more songs than a song convention, sing it/ my dad is bigger than your dad, he's got eight cars and a house in Ireland, sing it!" ....what more could you want in terms of nonsensical lyrics! And the music is awesome. I'll do Dallas for you when I get back to Italy, kosmo! Bye!

Oh dear Rocky, I found Disposable in hardcover for like two euros! And it's really remarkable...a couple of tracks are amazing...and how does it compare to the second one?

You are right, Kosmo, that capitalism as an economic system is based on a structure borrowed from Protestantism. My discourse was more general and pertains to the essentialist view inherent in the Christian religion (and generally in culture). The rush made me overlook the obvious differences between Catholicism and Protestantism, and you were right to point that out. What I critique is the worldview based on Good and Evil (sadly relevant for the past three years). It would be a lengthy discussion that I would love to have, but I don’t want to weigh down the review of cures with talk about grand systems. Bye.

Go comments in Senigalliese dialect (is it written like that?). But did you also go to Mamamia?

easy "schizophrenic"? Unbiased advice: read the recs at least 4 times before you send them. Anyway, it's nice, even though I don't agree with the straight edge ethics of no alcohol, no drugs (maybe because I use both). It's an ethic that arises in a social context like the American one, deeply rooted in Catholicism, and unfortunately suffers from this dualistic logic, which leads to an essentialist view of the world in terms of good/evil, black/white. And these aren’t the real problems of capitalist West. Bye.

We express our condolences to the relatives of Ms. Sintassi Italiana for her premature and sudden passing, caused by the improper and hasty use of the same by a reviewer from de-baser. The service will be held in the family’s private chapel. There 4/6/2004.
Baby Woodrose Money for Soul

You're right, this didn't turn out great in terms of rhythm, but I had been trying to envision it for three months and it came out like this… what can you do? Anyway, some notes on the side: Baby Hawaiian Woodrose is the name of a psychedelic seed used in shamanic rituals in the Hawaiian archipelago (I assume also in Polynesia). The singer Lorenzo (a stage name, of course) took it once and immediately went into the recording studio. From that session came their first CD, Blows Your Mind (check their website for the cover, which is quite a remarkable statement of intent) also highly recommended. For those interested in the history of Hell's Angels, I recommend the biography of Sonny Barger (the founder of the group), published by Baldini&Castoldi now available for 9 euro. It's an interesting slice of American history from the '50s to the '80s… aside from the fact that they were real bastards! Last news: Terry the Tramp died of an overdose in 1970… so the blondes can’t mess with you anymore! Bye and Zaireeka thanks for the compliments, but if I worked with music (which I wouldn’t mind at all) it wouldn’t be fun anymore and I’d probably take myself too seriously.

"Can you tell me where my country lies...." Well, what can I say, the first rock album I ever heard was by my sister, who is six years older than me, and I think I listened to it during my childhood and it influenced my adolescence. I mostly agree with everything, but it seems to me that in Italy they were quite famous in the '70s even before Gabriel left. Hello.
