Great shit! The album is fantastic (especially "Squeeze me Macaroni") but I’m more fond of that madness that is Disco Volante. However, I have to say the rec didn’t really please me… I just didn’t get what they wanted to say, sorry. Bye
Mono No Aware Kitanai Yatsu

Omae nani yutteunno? Which means what the hell are you saying? Kika no sekai I don't really think it means "I killed Kika," but I think you might be joking... maybe it means the world of geometry but it depends on the kanji it's written with. The mono no aware is precisely the sensitivity towards the tangible and ephemeral world of things, but it's a concept that's pretty much outdated at least at the level of common sentiment among people. The title is cute, it means "dirty thing or person," but I like to think they wanted to convey the sense of "a mess!" But Simone, are you into serious Japanese noise (stuff like Masonna, Boredoms, Gerogerigegege, Violent Onsen Geisha, Gembaku Onanist and the like)? Bye!

Nice review Fran, I really liked it! The samples are quite amazing and now I'm rushing to find them on soulseek. Bye.

Even my ears have recently grown tired of them... but I had thought about this e.p.... still too expensive, so I'm waiting for it to come out in used condition in a couple of months. Curiosity: on the cover it says: "hai chiizu," which simply means cheese, considering the ongoing photo shoot. Hi hum.

Sorry to interrupt, but it seems to me, Stefano, that you are the one who hasn’t understood a thing. I think the Turkish dwarf was referring to the presumption behind the statement "I am objective," because the objective point of view in a field like this one (and in many others as well) is paradoxically inapplicable... that is, having one’s own "subjective" idea of being "objective." Having finished this nonsense, I understood what you wanted to say to be "objective," and it wasn’t presumptuous. Anyway, as Kosmo says, everyone applies their own evaluation methods. Bye (I won't rate the album because I haven't listened to it and because I don't really like them).
Deep Purple Made In Japan

Bathory, I didn’t mean to say that I consider them pompous and self-serving, even though my opinion of them has changed over time. I meant that I understand the people for whom they might seem merely virtuosic instrumentalists, that is, I understand that for many people their music conveys nothing. It still does for me, but I’m sorry to admit that over time my musical tastes have changed, and of the sacred hard rock triad I listened to as a child (Led, Sabbath, and them), the first two remain among my favorites, while Deep Purple has fallen out of favor. I can't pinpoint a specific reason, but that's how it is. Bye.

It's quite difficult to comment on this album... right now I would say, like h.m., that it gets on my nerves after 2 minutes, but that would be an utter nonsense, considering this album and the band were among my favorites during my adolescence. I am filled with memories of this band in the most varied situations, and even though I don't listen to them anymore, certain songs remain iconic. I admit, however, that they have never really made a truly great album (in my opinion); even this live one deserves a 5 for what I'll call "historical" reasons, but there are live recordings from contemporary bands that are superior (like the BBC sessions of Led Zeppelin); I might be blasphemous, but I found The Mule boring even back then. Anyway, Bathory, the Deep are not liked by many people... I've noticed that many Deep fans are also musicians, and one can understand the adoration for monsters like Blackmore and Lord, but I also get the other segment of non-believers who find them pompous and self-indulgent... is the truth in the middle? Bye.

Ah, I wanted to measure the diameter of Kosmo... you're really rude, Hal! One doesn't say such things to a lady ;) ... Beautiful as always. X Kosmo: what do you think about Van Gennep? I had read Rites of Passage for my thesis, and it wasn't too bad considering the anthropology of the time. Bye!

My father has always held it against me that I didn't become a soccer player... and to think I wanted to be an archaeologist! Anyway, it seems you had better luck than this girl, whose recent memory I predict is pretty messed up. I don't think she would be able to write a recap like this! Bye.

ah ah ah my psychophile ears are tuning in.... I might like them, even though I have to ask you a few questions: do they do 80s prog (the horrible cover reminds me of epic metal stuff or 80s prog... is that the kind of thing?). What year is the album? Is it available or should I just let it go? Alright, thanks and bye.
