Where do you write "excuse me" about that? I have been a long-time fan of Queen and especially of this album, but from there to writing what you write is quite a stretch, Carlos trafficker. Then the fact that you emphasize being a rock critic already shows that you’re not one, and your use of capital letters reeks of teenager... you’re at most 17, right?

Damn Iko, I agree with you about the drop in quality, but with so many users there's not much you can do. Regarding the moralism, you might be right, but in my opinion, there's a way and a way to liven up the comments, and some may not appreciate the method of ruthless and direct criticism. I’m still waiting for your new reviews, not because you’re obligated to do them, of course, maybe you don’t have the time. But if the site is criticized and nothing is written, unfortunately, it’s like not voting and then getting mad at the government. I don’t know, maybe I wrote a bunch of clichés. With your response, Francis, you confirmed what I said above: keep your ego in check... he was JEALOUS of your review! You know, you really have to think highly of yourself to get to write this stuff, right? Even the beginning of the review follows this line. Be careful, because the ego is a nasty beast.

I'm sorry to say this, but your discussion is totally surreal... pure ego tripping... it feels like being back in school, "Ha, I got you, I know more than you!"... I don't agree with either of you: Iko, it's simply not true that if one isn't extremely knowledgeable about a topic, they can't express an opinion. Of course, they expose themselves to criticism, but they can do it, and they should never feel too ignorant to do so. Nobody is born "knowing." Francis, unfortunately, you remind me of Silent when it comes to ego (having a good opinion of your abilities isn't bad per se, but you need to manage it well) you talk about your acting without an ounce of humility. Especially when you write "don’t you dare." Where the hell do you think you are, in your own house? No one imposes anything on anyone else here, and especially not in this (sorry for the term) fascist way in my eyes. I hope I'm wrong. Bye and have a good discussion.

Hi glitch, unfortunately I'm not crazy about this review, even though it's incredibly detailed... maybe that's exactly why. You can tell you didn't proofread it, but I understand, it can happen. I don't know, I would have given a more personal interpretation of the album, rather than calling it "technical"... but obviously, that's what I would have done, and you wrote the review. The anonymous jerk is right for once... I have that Spirit album and the arpeggio is "IDENTICAL." It’s also mentioned in the booklet that Zeppelin opened for Spirit in '69, so it makes sense. Now, that doesn't change the fact that Taurus by Spirit is just a little song, while Stairway (whether due to historical circumstances or the undeniable beauty of the song itself) is a milestone and (in this case, I think it’s fair to call it) a masterpiece. Anyway, this helps to understand that everyone has drawn from other groups, even back then it happened. Randy California (what a fucking name) was a great guitarist, but Page went from being a session musician for garage bands to being a guitarist for the Yardbirds to innovating a heavy style of playing that has influenced so many.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! God or any higher being exists!! I had proof of it today. They finally reprinted it, and some shitty little Japanese dude resold it used in a new digipack edition. For 10 euros!! I'm so happy. For those looking for it, it's reprinted by buy or die records.

I can't believe you did it!!!!!!! You REALLY managed to listen to Pausini and you even tried to make an evolutionary analysis of her, as if she were a real artist and not a two-dimensional billboard of Agip!! You deserve to be paid by the site for the long-term damage you will cause... I think it works a bit like atomic fallout. You deserve a 5 for the courage.

The Threshold of a Dream I saw used yesterday.....maybe I’ll think about it. Any other recommendations for the 60's that I'm missing? I recently picked up the Kaleidoscope (not the English ones, the Californian), they're not too bad because they mix the usual psychedelic country à la Grateful Dead with a lot of Arabic-sounding instruments (oud, yes... I swear that's what it's called). But I’ve noticed that the San Francisco frak scene from the late '60s doesn't drive me crazy; I often find the English stuff from the same period a lot more fun. At this point, I prefer the garage sound before the Summer of Love. There are really very few Californian bands from that time that I like. And you, Hum?

Oh my goodness, but here we are as tough as the school desks, where are you going, huh? Jessy, do you really think I want to hit on you? Can't you even tell when someone is messing with you? Oh man, I’ll stop because you really get offended and just don’t get it... and then I start to wonder, guys, if this controversy is fake... I don’t know, the two up there are too stereotypical... in short, help me and reassure me that reality isn’t like this. Dan, you also said something pretty ridiculous in my opinion, saying that everything comes from these three bands. Well, I used to believe it too, but that was based on my age and the few listens I had back then. Then you research the enormous amount of stuff recorded between the mid-60s and mid-70s (if you want to limit yourself) and you change your mind. As much as the three you mentioned are also some of my favorite bands.
