for me one of the cornerstones remains trout mask, bought for the sake of completion, let’s say, already lick my decals off, baby is + digestible (that should be the one before trout). Writing a review for another site was hell on earth, three full days!!! I had a quick chat with makoto after a concert in Tokyo and he seems like a chill guy except he speaks really softly and is a bit shy. And he has a face like a balloon. Other cornerstones.......the first one by Comets on Fire and another one I downloaded that was called something like "Music For Bong"....I think that speaks for itself....

I was in Urbino, and I must say that the best part about good Julian was actually how he showed up. Ignoring the fact that some (like you) considered him a relic, he came dressed like the Village People even at the restaurant. A rockstar doesn’t need to follow any aesthetic code, and then what the hell does it even mean to be a rockstar? Anyway, I have to admit that the concert made me chuckle a bit, not to mention that the sounds didn’t exactly blow me away, and then he even performed "World Shut Your Mouth," which was at best inappropriate for that live context.

Damn, how sensitive we are. Anyway, what I said wasn’t a criticism but an observation, especially aimed at those on the site who (like me) enjoy Hawkwind and with whom we embark on great trips. It wasn’t directed at you since I don’t know you and I don’t know how much you like them.

I'm also, as always, against duplicates, please listen to something else. And anyway, the first one was better than the second, and there's really not much to say about these kids.

No, I'm not stopping you from responding, especially because aside from your initial macho outbursts, you've managed to disguise yourself well behind a good dialectic and solid argumentative skills. But the wolf pretending to be a lamb deceives no one anymore. What I contest is that I rarely catch you talking about music, and never reviewing (something you're not the only one not doing). And the primary purpose of the site is this.

I always appreciate your paternalistic tone, dear Mauro. So, since I’m not well-versed in economics, while I admit you are adept in it, I won’t comment much, and indeed aside from the initial interventions, I haven't gone on at length, partly because you have someone else who responds in kind. So starting from your premise "I talk about music and you about politics," the question arises spontaneously: BUT THEN WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU STILL DOING ON DEBASER? IS THIS PERHAPS A SITE ABOUT POLITICAL ECONOMY? I CAN ALSO BOAST TO THE POSTMAN THAT I KNOW FOUCAULT AND HE DOESN'T; EVERYONE CAN DO THAT. SO DON'T MASK YOUR MUSICAL IGNORANCE BY TALKING ABOUT OTHER THINGS. WHY DON'T YOU FREQUENT SITES WHERE "SERIOUS" THINGS ARE DISCUSSED AS YOU SAY? ARE YOU AFRAID OF LOSING?.....

It's a matter of perspectives. As for me, I'm attached to the early Floyd, so the first two albums remain the pinnacle. Wish and Dark are, in my opinion, lesser works. You might call me crazy or alternative, but I can't fully enjoy the previous albums; I consider them adolescent because they haven't surpassed that period in my listening journey. Whereas I still happily listen to the early ones.

Good job, anti, I had forgotten about the production by Kevin Shields that can be heard, in fact, even the neighbors can hear it. On the topic of Screamadelica, there’s enough to write for ten scrolls... let's just say that, in my opinion, it's a very overrated album. Sure, it was one of the first to bring together/collision the worlds of rock and dance (or disco, or whatever you want to call it), but the result is decent in really few tracks, those that belong more to one or the other musical sphere. Slip Inside This House is nice, but the version by the 13th Floor Elevators is better, and the track that has the dub remix (sorry, I forgot the title) is also valid, but other tracks are almost laughable, they’re almost kitsch. And then I think that at the time the impact was different, I bought it in '97 and honestly found it already quite old. Then my lawyer told me about how he saw them at Reading in '92 or '93 and they were booed by the English themselves. I don’t know, it seems to me that a reassessing critical structure has been built up around it that tried to set the stage for a genre-blending phenomenon that perhaps wasn’t even generated by that album. I don't know, maybe these are just my thoughts, but if it were the opposite, I wouldn’t have this nickname.
