Sorry hal, I wasn’t complaining, I was just comparing the value of the two records. @frantz: sorry I didn't come to mamamia for the afterhours, but I really can't stand them. maybe we'll catch up for Deus at Velvet. ola paisà

Well, I don't think the tomorrows have much to do with the stuff mentioned here... yeah, I mean, it's a nice record of English psychedelic pop like Sgt. Pepper and the less guitar-driven things of the early Floyd, they weren't that obscure. Anyway, you guys are getting on my nerves, I’ll have to find that damn record!!! But what about Third Reich 'n Roll, how is it?

Hey Giov, have you seen the review they're doing of the latest Warlocks (but it’s not the first one that tears them apart) on Pitchfork? Saying they go hard is an understatement; they describe them as drooling idiots with soiled pants... Anyway, I’m happy to listen to Phoenix again in the end. Bye!

And who remembers the good Ilona when she tried to immolate herself on the altar of peace, when during the first Gulf War she declared that she would offer herself for a night of fire with Saddam in exchange for the end of hostilities... an everlasting myth.

I should add that I found it used at a high price for Tokyo and I didn't buy it... total regret in hindsight.

GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!! The only true local icon (which wasn’t really that much) that they envy us on a global level. Grasshopper, the song you mentioned, is Muscle Rosso. As I’ve already written in other records, I managed to put it on heavy rotation at the hyper-luxurious restaurant where I worked in Tokyo. Being a good bastard, at first I passed it off as Italic 80's pop, then I had fun translating the lyrics to the horrified waiters... how beautiful it was to see middle-aged Japanese ladies completely immersed in the aesthetic culinary experience of the place, sipping a fine Amarone della Valpolicella, while our Cicciolina was programmatically declaring, “Hey you, who look like a mannequin, whip out your hard cock, I’ll give you a blowjob-o” or gems like the chorus “I want the cock-o dressed in leather, the cock-o harder than the wall, the cock that will break me”... the mockery of the Italian clients who sang along in chorus... a sublime image, even better than the cockroach coming out from under the pure and virginal dress of the bride of the moment... but that’s another story...

josi I’ve seen them in photos and if I see them on the street I certainly wouldn’t turn around, I mean they might be intriguing because they make music but there’s not much beauty to them, damn they look like the lesbian duo!

"...and then I would say that The miracle that has so many guns is not liked at all...."WHAT DID YOU WRITE????? I mean, did you really write "that HAS (???) so many guns is not liked"??? Please tell us your age, because we can understand your geographical origin given the use of the epithet that you could have kept just to yourself, like a true Massimo Boldi fan..."

I didn't remember Iko's comment... well, to each their own. Anyway, comparing Liebezeit and Collins makes no sense, it's like saying that polo is better than ruzzola... I mean, Collins is a monster of technique who plays in a rather canonical way, while Liebezeit doesn't seem like a man playing the drums, but rather like an electronic drum machine programmed. And the Can are not at all prog; they sound more like an electronic group, I mean, they hardly do rock, and from Ege onwards, even less.
