Certainly these are better than pearls and brass for sure, but still they don't leave much of an impression. At the time, I felt quite indifferent. beautiful the preface. I'm not a fan of the grateful, but after getting this in hdcd version with huge live bonus tracks, I've changed my mind. and I have to say that even the studio version of alligator isn't bad with that cheeky and out-of-place kazoo at the beginning. live/dead remains the only huge record of their career.

Well, I don't mind Beacon from Mars, but it's not the masterpiece that people say it is. Taxim is excellent, but the title track never resonated with me much. And if you think about it, Viva the rest of the album is formally very much tied to American tradition. I find Out baldhead of a broom and the third track are monstrously canonical. This is more linked to the psychedelic tradition of the time, so perhaps a bit more current than Beacon. Then there's Incredible, let's not forget that; it's a good halfway point and maybe the most complete. Personal judgment, obviously.

I have always been unsettled by this record. I’ve found it a thousand times used in Tokyo but never bought it. I have a certain reverential fear for this work. Even though it's nonsensical considering that I own similar bricks, like all the Guru Guru and the rather obscure Electronic Meditation by Tangerine. Maybe I’ll see it and take action.

Just read it upon waking up. Good job, Odra, especially on how you render "river of transfiguration." I'll have to do the rec anyway for a local fanzine, but I couldn't go against my principles, so I wouldn't publish it on deb. Compared to "school of the flower," it's less purely folk, maybe just because of the final tour de force.
