Neil Young On the Beach
Voto:
Chapeau, my friend Don. You told me to come and read it, and I did. What can I say, excellent, just as I liked it back then about good zigghio, who I somewhat miss being inside here. As I mentioned in chat, I'm a perfect ignoramus about Neil, but Everybody Knows has been promptly downloaded and will soon be purchased. The problem is that I only came to know him years ago through Harvest which (I know, I know) makes me want to vomit. At this point, should I buy this one sight unseen? After all, the remaster is only 10 euros...

finally arrived after ordering from caiman... connecting back to what you and caz were saying above, I've never bought much, practically only on amazon but from caiman stores. However, this last order of 3 CDs made me struggle a bit, after exchanging some emails with the guys from caiman florida, after a month I received two CDs that remained from the order. Besides having downloaded this one a while ago, and obviously liking it, it cost almost nothing, like $5. Anyway, if you order directly from caiman, you have lower shipping costs. The worst experience for me with these orders was with cd box, which sent me two CDs (including space ritual by hawkwind for €13) along with a payment receipt even though I hadn't made a bank transfer. Good businessmen, I must say.
The Deviants Ptooff!

In fact, it's basically blues, but well hidden by a remarkable cut-up work. In my opinion, the first three deviants to have; maybe the third is the most normal, the second is a middle ground.

I was just listening to Conference of the Birds the other day, the latest one. Interesting but a bit of a drag, two long compositions that are very declamatory, at least the first one, which has an almost post-rock setup (long crescendos that explode but not too much). Interesting, but if this is similar, I fully agree with the rating and the review.
The Good, The Bad and The Queen The Good, The Bad and The Queen

I downloaded it, but it was the free concert in Camden Town from October (by the way, I was there for work, and if I had bumped into nickghost earlier, I might have thought about it). I must say it’s not that awful, but dedicating too much time to it feels like a waste. Sorry, but I have too much old good stuff to listen to, and this seems like it will fall into oblivion. Speaking of new releases, does anyone have any impressions on the new Shins? At first, it didn’t speak to me at all, but today, with a sunny day, I have to say it wasn’t bad.

Well, without the booklet it loses some of its charm, definitely better than the video, delirious as usual, but the booklet, guys, makes me want to scan it and turn it into posters for the cozy guest room.

my woman gifted it to me for Christmas, but I was expecting something in line with the genius booklet... I might just grow a vulva on my shoulder...

I'm discovering them little by little this year, as I've mentioned I only know the first one and entertainment, both very interesting, so now I definitely need to download this one as well. If I had extra money, I would get all three, but for now, I'm fine with this. Anyway, I've found myself reassessing a lot of prog this year, or rather I've realized how many interesting bands existed between the late '60s and early '70s, mixing psychedelia with articulated structures (the best form of prog, even though I grew up with my sister's Genesis). I didn't think there were so many good things hidden from my hazy eyes.
Michael Jackson History

Wow, it's been ages since I last saw so much nonsense written, especially since the review of "Keep the Faith" by Bon Jovi!!! Fantastic, you’re turning my gloomy day at the office around!! As for the album or the artist, I'll refrain from saying much; I don't like shooting the wounded, I only do it towards artists, not mere businessmen. I don't even care about the pedophilia; theoretically, he's a singer. But it strikes me how 16-year-olds are still infatuated with this relic of the obscene 80s pop charts. I mean, I remember the rise of that colored renegade, I've got the 45 of "Billie Jean" (or however the hell it's spelled) and I loved it... but I was 5-6 years old. I can understand people my age and around having a nostalgic attachment to Michael, but honestly, I don’t get how a teenager today manages to. Damn, could it be that your parents passed this obsession down to you? I shudder at the mere thought; I could never wish that kind of thing on my child...
The Oblivians Play 9 Songs With Mr. Quintron

good job, that's it! I think there is one of the Oblivians as a cameo, but I might be confusing it with the movie about the Oblivians.
