I’m old inside, I’m broken... and I think that’s not a virtue...

My God, I was left speechless the first time I saw it... I truly don’t know which gag makes me laugh more. Either the insurance sailing ship that seems capable of conquering the world, if only "some theories about the roundness of the globe had turned out to be TERRIBLY wrong," or when at the final dinner the lady opens the door and announces, "There is a certain Mr. Death, he must be a farmer from the area." And then Death enters, and I can’t remember if Cleese declares, "Well, that gives a different tone to the evening!" And then the second half of the movie? BRILLIANT, even if objectively a bit slow at times. I should rewatch Life of Brian; I saw it when I was 13 in '89, and I didn't catch all the jokes and nonsensical references.

it's available for €13 Tiny in reissue Repertoire Records.....there are worse value for money options, right?
Michel Gondry Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind

because he started with nonsense like The Mask and Ace Ventura and carries around the stinky trail like a skunk, I believe. Kaufman but directed by Spike Jonze isn't bad, Adaptation... has anyone seen it?

this is the art of dreaming drives me crazy, one of the few music video directors with something to say. I don’t want to say something stupid since I just woke up... but isn’t it Kaufman who wrote the screenplay?
Elio Petri Indagine Su Un Cittadino Al Di Sopra Di Ogni Sospetto
Voto:
one of my favorite movies of all time, to think they had problems because right after filming ended, there was the Piazza Fontana massacre and Petri didn’t know if it would be censored (the theme and story are alarmingly prophetic). Instead, it was a success. A devastating Volonté.

Guys, I feel like there was already this review, if I’m not mistaken it’s already a duplicate. Something new, right? Anyway, I don’t agree that the album stands on Valentyne Suite. For those who like jazz rock, it may seem that way, but for me, who finds it a bit heavy and brings my mood down to the ground floor, it feels a bit too much. Better The Kettle, for example. I bought it more for the three initial compositions than for the suite, which alternates tightly focused moments with others that are definitely a drag (those brass instruments are a pain). Anyway, it's better than many other later bands, even if just for chronological reasons.

@festwca: they are there, I downloaded them over a month ago from soulseek (I'll give you my username for download in a private message). What can I say, I’ve unfortunately dedicated only a few confused listens to them... they're not bad, I must say, but something doesn’t quite convince me. Maybe I'll burn them to a CD so I can listen to them better.

Damn, how can you not hear The Stooges and Blue Cheer??? The first one sounds like a noise version of "Second Time Around" by Cheer. As for Gaippo, I don’t know much either... the latest Ghost is a bit of a drag, the one before was a bit lighter. Boris depends; sometimes they wear me out, but they are quite unique... try to find Marble Sheep (MC5 & Stooges on the nightstand).
Black Lips Let It Bloom

They released a live concert in Tijuana, Mexico a while ago. Surprisingly, the live sounds better than their studio albums, and I’m not joking. But the best part is the footage available on YouTube... Christ, it’s been since the days of GG Allin that I’ve seen naked people on stage; there's even a girl masturbating under the guitarist. Here’s the link: and while you’re at it, check out the others too.
