Arthur Brown's Kingdom Come Galactic Zoo Dossier
Voto:
Sorry, I read it but we don't agree. The track by track makes it sound like a shopping list, and the adjectives are often the same. That said, it's fine just because it covers something unreviewed that needed to be done by someone sooner or later. I would have also mentioned that Brown played at the UFO Club with the Soft Machine and Pink Floyd in '67. What surprises me about Brown is how he precedes Gillan's (but also Glover's) vocalizations, the face painting of Alice Cooper and Kiss. And honestly, there's very little of the commonly understood progressive here, to be frank. I'd call it a sort of space rock. Anyway, I suggest you check out what’s on YouTube about this crazy guy and have fun (especially Internal Messenger at the Glastonbury festival in '71 where they set three 5-meter crosses on fire!). Oh, note for the record: he was arrested in Palermo in '71 during a festival because he sang naked. And he got off easy, too.

I guess you're new but I hate you with all my being!!! Damn, I started working on it last night!!! Well, of course I’m kidding. Phenomenal track, now I’ll read the review.

Well guys, the Kingdom Come are even better than Crazy World! This video is just an example of what Arthur Brown was doing live, a precursor, the Kiss should pay him royalties:

WELL, Cure and Charisma are two great films; they may be predictable now, but I remember 7-8 years ago when they were broadcast (and the director was even at university) I was struck, especially by The Cure.

One thing: does he follow Nichiren or the Soka Gakkai? No, because for all of the West Buddhism = Soka Gakkai, which takes inspiration from the teachings of Nichiren (who, during his life, was certainly not a saint; there are conflicting opinions about his figure) but is part of that group of syncretistic beliefs post-Meiji called ShinShuukyou, or new religions. And indeed, they also have a quite influential political party in Japan, the Komeito.

Well done, someone has finally done it. + progressive (in a broad sense, obviously) of the previous one, much + stoner as it is canonically understood. The third track is a bomb, a nice tribal freakout. I also like the review.

I'm hearing the one from Spyro that I recognized by name now... not bad at all. Downloaded, of course, from the blogs Odra talks about, of which Lost in Tyme is my favorite.

Strange Puni immediately appealed to me, and although I was raised on progressive genesiano, I almost completely rejected it for 10 years. Recently, I realized that I hadn’t listened to lesser-known and more interesting records, and this is a striking example (but there would be dozens: Colosseum, Arzachel, ARcadium, the early Family, Pizza&Fichi, etc.). For now, it's one of my favorites from that period. The review honestly doesn’t add much more to what others have written; I am absolutely against duplicates, unless they significantly improve on what others have said, or at least provide a personal interpretation of the work. I also hope your next ones are on things that haven’t been reviewed.

far behind as a 17-year-old grunge kid made me lose my mind! However, they didn't stand the test of time, meaning that already a year later, no one cared about them anymore.

defining the incredibly cool Japanese girls means having vision problems or not being successful with Western women. Which of the two dashboards? Having a one night stand in Tokyo is as easy as stealing candy from babies. Anyway, the accent is really nice.
