just a comment to keep updated on the immense nonsense you’re about to write; you've already brightened my gloomy workday. And I would add STAY CTHULHU!

huuden sdzjiiippese obviously....dinner at my place tonight? You would be the first to see my new psychedelic den, there's even a life-size poster of Hendrix to greet you as you enter.

@Fest: yes, I recommend you to slow down, I'm trying to do the same, especially since I won't be able to download anything for a month because I'm moving to a new house. And I’m finally taking some time to listen to all the stuff I downloaded over the last 6 months. Damn, a lot of albums I like need long and careful listens... those were good times without downloads, in a way, a bit like taking photos with a digital camera (and missing the whole moment of anticipation, 'how did it turn out?') versus using a film camera. Unfortunately, the magic has been a bit lost...

The only album that, 17 years later, I still gladly put on. And the only five-star album by Queen for me. There’s no 'A Night at the Opera' that can compare.

Yes, I know, super put like this they seem anything but couch material! Anyway, the Can have the dromedary-like rhythm of Halleluwah and Future Days, Neu have the robotic feel, the Stooges only have the bass line that I mentioned (a bit of a plagiarism unfortunately), and the Comets... basically nothing, just a few guitar bursts. Let’s say they’re like Spacemen 3 with really fuzzy guitars. Anyway, great album, I swear I thought it would wear me out, and instead, maybe because of its "simplicity," it’s really this slow and narcoleptic pace that makes me put it on often, even as background music. Oh Chupa, sorry for the debate about Om, it got a bit too lengthy...

Well, I wanted to get that Nirvana record but it smelled like a rip-off. Always on the usual blog, you find Steel Mill which isn't bad at all, and maybe even the early UK Nirvana albums, of which I like the second one. But they're not prog at all (also because the first two are from '67-'68 at most).

Damn, I missed it! I don’t know guys, I really like this a lot, I find very few flaws and a lot of stimulation. Then again, it’s all a matter of taste. For me, making a top ten krukka is tough, because I have so many records, but diving into all of them is like sending my brain on a vacation without knowing when it will come back home. Let’s try vaguely: 1) Can - Tago Mago/Future Days 2) Faust - EVERYTHING 3) Amon Duul II - Yeti 4) Ash Ra Tempel - Join Inn (interchangeable with the first two obviously) 5) Popol Vuh - Hosianna Mantra 6) Walter Wegmuller - Tarot 7) Guru Guru - s/t or Kanguru 8) Sergius Golowin - Lord Krishna Von Goloka and I think that’s enough for me. Kraftwerk is always snubbed, the same goes for Harmonia. Schulze ruins my days and I find him a bit outdated like Tangerine Dream (though I do have Electronic Meditation, which also deserves a mention for its bad luck).

But I read that in a song (I think it's instrumental) from this album, the African jazz musician Mulatu Astatke appears. Does anyone know something about it? To me, it seems like nonsense, but you never know what you do to get by!

Well, go figure, I hardly ever vote on reviews, especially those I don’t like that much, and I definitely don’t rate albums I’m not familiar with. Actually, I was here to see if the reviewer or other fans of Italian metal knew one of the early '80s bands, Gunfire. Anyway, you just arrived and are already giving orders; it can’t be said that you don’t have clear ideas. Less so about Italian, obviously.
