Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. Myth Of The Love Electrique
Voto:
the koshu is not to be drunk, really not to be drunk. The discs of Acid Mothers are always a mystery; I probably have 5 or 6 in my HD and none that I've managed to really listen to or that have excited me. But Makoto is a character from another time, a bit shy and paranoid, but a true hippie relic washed up who knows how in contemporary Japan.

Well, about RATM, you've exaggerated a bit; I wish they were as you portray them. This is regarding the political discussion. Musically, for me, they remain awesome; when the first album came out, I didn't listen to anything else for three years. Well, at 15/16, that's understandable. And damn, it really gets to me that I was in Turin for work; otherwise, I would have been there 100%, because I stupidly missed them at that Heineken crap in 2000 along with the Primal Scream of XTRMNTR (what a doubleheader that would have been!)

see paloz, following ondarock leads to discovering albums years and years later... if you were here on deb by now you would be a prime mover (and Onda's review is crap in my opinion, the only good one I read on an anglophile site)

Well done, gentlemen up there. I've been preaching this since 2004 about deb, but no one pays attention to me. I don't doubt the value or the "appeal" of the Italian hip hop with its pro-gangsta roots, but we need to be aware that to those who might not be in the know, it becomes a pantomime of US sources of inspiration. I couldn't stand Tupac either (but not the NWA, who were my hype when I was 14), because I foresaw the proliferation of the fake-lived attitude of joints and guns that eventually became gangsta. However, it was a fairly TRUE expression of the ghetto and the situation in major urban centers in the USA. I mean, we might have some notorious suburbs too, but at least black rappers have a hundred-year-old problem of racial integration behind them (which, in my opinion, doesn't justify the gangsta attitude, but that's just personal opinions). But do this kind of rotten world or even Club Dogo have issues with racial integration? I'm not talking about Fibra because he doesn't seem very gangsta to me (it makes me laugh, given that he's the son of the middle-class in Senigallia, and Senigallia is just like Harlem, yes yes, a spitting image). It seems to me that they wrap themselves in US stylistic elements because that's what sells and what's in vogue.

Melissa, you didn't specify that we eat children... because otherwise the stereotype lacks juicy appendages.

What makes me laugh is how this Paolo manages to waste all this time inventing a do-gooder character that even Rispoli would struggle with. I hope you’re still a student; otherwise, it means you’re wasting time at work too. Because I hope you’re not real. Scapegoat or not, don’t worry, your dear grandpa (because you must have a granddad like that, mine, if he were still alive, would tear off his balls and stuff them in poor Giulietto's mouth) is and will remain unpunished. With the best wishes of upright citizens like you.

I was at the beach in Thailand, a lovely night of revelry (and weeping for my wallet because of the expensive Paillard).

Sorry, you’re 15 years old, don’t put words in your mouth that you don’t even know the meaning of... poor Italy... landed at the port of Lampedusa... are you already so stereotyped at this age? namobbene

Well, Melissa, it had been a while since I saw so many clichés on a page. Larrok is right when he says to think for oneself. "That gentleman Dell'Utri" is an outburst worthy of Lucignolo. Or the Monty Python + surrealists. The problem arises when you candidly assert, "as the majority of Italians think like me," and unfortunately, that's almost true. And all of this is unsettling. Especially because it's a now well-established victory of the "turn the tables" tactic applied by the psycho-dwarf since '94. In 7 years, he has managed to make any idiot with a mouth of Italian nationality say that the communists have ruled Italy for 50 years (poor grandfather must be flipping in his grave) and that his political candidacy was an act of love towards the nation to be saved, instead of a successful and well-planned project to evade legal problems that were close to the time of Craxi's escape to Libya (oh pardon, "exile"… go fuck yourself, in 2000 I offered a bottle of Bruno Paillard when I found out that the poor exile had kicked the bucket).
