The ones recommended by Super I had already downloaded from my friend Chris, but as usual, they're just sitting on my work HD. Look, I was just searching for Sir Lord Baltimore, but on Amazon, they cost over €10, and I only buy under that price (I know I'm a cheapskate, what can I do?). eBay is a double-edged sword, to be used with caution. Back in March, I spent a bit of money that I still can’t recoup. But every now and then, great finds, like these tractors, Electric Wizard for €3, but also scams, like $25 for a Brazilian vinyl print of Kanguru by Guru Guru, shipped in a ridiculous package and smashed during transit (but I think the jerk sent it broken). I hope he gets wrecked outside by a bunch of glue-sniffing kids. That’ll teach him to ruin beautiful records! Now go get your stoner fix, grab three Magnet, Kyuss, Holy Mountain, Slo Burn, and ACrimony, and you've got the classics covered. Then head over to perkele.it and good luck!

Well, what luck Ole, I paid 4 € for mine including shipping on eBay!!!! Anyway, this is really a nice record, one of the best finds of this year. What interesting stuff have you discovered this year?

First Dead Man, after having hastily thrown it away at the time, I've reassessed it a lot; the second one is too soft, don’t you think, Fest? I still have to listen to the Graveyard properly. Have you heard the US Christmas?

By fascination, I don't mean a fleeting interest, but often the opposite. That is, being drawn to a product (specifically musical) because of its geographical origin. There's nothing wrong with that; I’m an enthusiast of foreign music myself and an anglophile, but it’s a trigger that has been activated often in the last 6/7 years. Anyway, due to my personal tastes in the Japanese scene, I look for things that are a bit less mainstream; at this point, I feel like Meg from 99 Posse if I have to listen to Hikaru. But I understand that it's really my own issue; I just can't comprehend how J-Pop (even though she is one of the least bad) can appeal to someone who isn't Japanese. I mean, it feels more natural to imagine someone getting into Koto and Shamisen concerts (not Shakuhachi because it has a nice double meaning) than to appreciate Japanese commercial pop. Then, of course, we enjoy our tastes.

Great, but I don't have the song you mentioned, Lady of Astorath, on my CD... I mean, I have 8 original tracks, + 4 demo versions and two tracks, one with Nik Turner from Hawkwind and another live at Glastonbury 2002. Mine is the Oz It Records edition, yours?

brrr....Black Kids.....horrible, even those little bastards at Pitchfork after praising them with the EP gave the album a 0.0, writing only "Sorry for the mistake" or something like that. If they are the BK I'm thinking of, of course.

I don't see a huge difference between Hikaru and the American pop singers, maybe better music production (at least what I remember hearing in Tokyo), but still aimed at the masses. To each their own, but nothing can take away the idea that she could be popular just because she's Japanese and appealing. Oh, cursed fascination with the East!

Well, now we think about it, but it would be worth seeing it in person. The Japanese (and the photographers) are masters at making everything look beautiful... Strange name, Marika; I think it’s artistic because it doesn’t mean anything. At most, it will be Mariko.

If this Matsumoto is the one in the link, I think you’ve never seen decent Japanese girls: Ingrandisci questa immagine
Belle and Sebastian 3.. 6.. 9 Seconds of Light

Look, dear, I really feel high on fire and motorhead just like belle and sebastian, maybe not in the same period, just like I don't put cream with mussels. And then you talk, you who started listening to music in 2003 (your words in your profile).
