From the hymns, there’s worse in the field! You’re even more negative than I am!

I wanted to do it too. It doesn't seem to me like a guitar heroes album; the guitar is in charge, but we're in the realm of a rather inspired improvisation. The final "improvisation on an Indian Scale" is very beautiful.

Sometimes I enjoy these detached reviews from the music itself; perhaps it's the only thing that distinguishes Debaser from other webzines, where the reviews tend to blend together and are always overly serious (as if music must be taken seriously all the time). It’s obvious that it doesn't serve an informative purpose regarding the reviewed object; if I didn’t know the album but also the band, it would objectively say very little. But if you listen to the album (which is easy since it's been available on the web for 4 months), the review fits perfectly. @Il trucido: Dolls pissed me off to death as well, but please, let’s not place Kitano next to that crap about the Goonies; it makes me want to invade Poland!

But what year is this stuff from? Shouldn't she be under arrest for coke? I mean, damn, they catch me with two joints and they give me such a hard time, and yet this half-assed (but famous) person is found dealing coke in her bar (and in significant quantities) and nothing happens at all. I mean, she even finds the time to shove vague noises down our throats again?

Beautiful Alessio, I haven't read anything stimulating and foreign to mere musical description in a long time. Double bravo because one usually ends up saying the same old clichés about this kind of records (in this I would have been very tedious, reluctantly) and instead your film describes the "fixity" of the record better than sterile technicalities. The crying for minutes and minutes reminds me of a Chinese film (Wong Kar Wai in his early days) where there is a scene of crying with a fixed camera for 15 minutes, 15!

Ah, the 23! Great memories, and nice little expenses made there! Yes, the one with the mushroom is the record I'm talking about; I had even downloaded it when I was in Japan in 2004. It wasn't bad at all.

I wish I could sleep, my daughter often stays out for after-hours (and not the band, oh my God). I mean, Paolo, someone named after a tribe of Native Americans??? Parents to be kicked.

I'll read it tomorrow, but congratulations also because it had been in the works for a while. What can I say about the Oneida, never a total disappointment, always well in control, never a slip-up, always different. Here they dive into an almost tribute to the most hypnotic kraut, but without ever being derivative. If only there were more bands like this!

Mushroom.....title like Early One Morning??? If that's the case, 6€ is mine. Forest I think they did folk but I’ve only heard their name. And for 6€, I always take the plunge, especially for stuff that looks interesting just from the cover. But, for heaven's sake, where the hell do you find this stuff for 6€!!!!!?????? There can't be a clearance sale going on at Radioactive records, can there????

So let's sum up the comments above: Colour Haze listened to... nothing special, actually I'd say that apart from three rather anonymous tracks (but with them, you never know, they can surprise you over time). Ii Dungen listened to earlier in the car (downloaded from you Bartle)... I think I'll pass, after Ta Det Lungt they didn't impress me much. Last Grails: I take that back, it's already growing on me by the third listen, seems definitely valid, not to mention with one of the most kitschy covers of the year!
