Damn, I missed that part; I'll check it out. But it really is quite funny to pick on Guglielmi, who has been through 30 years of music in Italy.

A delight to read it, a great desire to absorb/buy/download all the Teutonic knowledge a couple of years ago... and then a continuous reflux and downsizing of choices. For heaven's sake, Cope is a blast to read (and anyway, great translation work; if you're used to Cope's jargon on his site Head Heritage, you realize the untranslatability of his delirious terms), but it has to be taken as the book of a true fanatic, without half measures. Yes, I agree with Fest (with whom it seems we were discussing this in another review), many things he cites as masterpieces are sometimes quite dispensable. Even the same Tarot by Wegmuller, which I bought at a high price, hasn’t held up well these two years. I like the Cosmic, but sometimes they throw in some keyboard sounds that are really tawdry! Yes, in short, many good things (also due to the heterogeneity of the pseudo scene), and some significant omissions (above all Agitation Free, the reviews of the other albums by Guru Guru, and that little masterpiece that is Future Days by Can). In any case, max ratings.

we were tossing these around between me and Trell (also for a possible review a couple of months ago). The initial impact grabbed me a lot, but after three months of listening, I realized they didn't hold up. By all means, absolutely worth a listen, especially because the Hawkwindian influences are really beautiful, but the vocals become tiring over time. Eh maybe Wyndorf is a beast!

I had reviewed the Glasspack Fest at the dawn of my Debaser times, Powderkeg, which still remains a nice punch of an album. Anyway, the previous and subsequent ones are not bad either. Yeah, they are on Sucking but I don't remember what cover they do.

Well, in my opinion, it’s a huge mistake to write "the biggest music listeners, as we know, are always the musicians..." which I believe is absolutely false. Most of the musicians I know (and who do interesting things) don’t listen to that much music, especially those who didn’t grow up on downloads. In fact, I've encountered musicians who closely follow the music scene around them and often create derivative music, or music so rich in sources that it seems like a poorly assembled golem (every recognizable influence lacking overall cohesion). So, in my opinion, it’s almost a good thing for a musician to follow what’s inside them more than what they listen to.

Ah damn, the story of the needle and the camel, that's fantastic! What amazing errors from Aramaic to Greek. But I don't understand why, even though it doesn't make sense, a rope for a camel has been passed down. Mysteries of faith.

@azzo: shit, so someone read me all the Blow Up issues in my sleep! I mean, I would also put the second Zep, but especially Funhouse before The Stooges' self-titled, and also Everybody... at Harvest or After the Gold Rush. Shit, am I a snob in self-hypnosis training? Anyway, in Mucchio's list they managed to avoid big blunders on historical bands because they included more than one album. Making a list with one album per artist is open to many more criticisms. You're making me curious about this little book. But is it sold in any format? And where?

Look, Fest, I was about to do it too on Amazon for Christmas. This album really pumps me up! I liked those other filthy ones from Small Stone, the Glasspack.

Afterwards I read Giona, but the little disc isn't too bad, found as usual in the small Bible of the minor prog published by Giunti. Someone please make that big disc of St. Radigund by Spyrogira!

Not to mention those from Ondarock who pontificated from behind. Heavy as a kilo of plutonium on the testicles.
