Neil LaBute The Wicker Man
Voto:
I saw the original after reading the review of it on splattercontainer.com. The TRUE The Wicker Man is definitely a film with no shortage of flaws (especially technical ones, sometimes in the acting, like when the actress looks straight at the camera and it’s NOT intentional), but it keeps you glued to the screen from beginning to end because the story is amazing, the lead and supporting actors do their jobs well, the atmosphere is palpable, and that damn little town is truly unsettling. I guess I'll have to download this one. I'll take your advice, after all, I don’t mind watching a bad movie every now and then. The last one I saw was "il pianeta dei dinosauri"... such a huge piece of crap that I had to go disinfect my eyes with acid out of shame.

Frank Capra La Vita E' Meravigliosa
Voto:
In my opinion, Frank Capra is THE director of the New Deal (a "philosophy" that, for those who know what I'm talking about, should not be surprising to have resurfaced as an intrinsic element of very recent products, like the masterpiece series LOST), the one who has best crafted the films of the New Deal. Real objects and not just ideals, but precisely as films, ideal objects. We'll never get out of this alive.

In the definition you provided of the DT in the first block of text (on the line highlighted in bold), I got confused.

Even "enter my world and kill yourself" is a great title. I've heard a few tracks (but it seems that the album is fully downloadable) from the Il Male Production website. I'm halfway between not understanding whether he’s mocking others and what he does, or if the titles are misleading and the music is "serious." I believe this doubt will remain unresolved forever.
Mayhem Ordo Ad Chao
Voto:
Damn, you’re tough... but I don’t agree on anything. Ordo ad Chao, with its crude production, guitars and drums that sometimes sound the same, is an album that is anything but easy and offers multiple interpretations. If you take it song by song, it might go down easy, but the whole album is infused with incredibly wicked and unique atmospheres. The style adopted feels like a return to the steps of Grand Declaration of War, but with even more coherence between pieces (to the point that it can truly be defined as a concept album), and the sound quality winks at the old days but with the obvious (though not that obvious) changes brought by the evolution of a genre that’s been around for a few years now. Still, I was waiting for YOU to review this album, which for me has represented an unhealthy breath of fresh air. It might be the almost progressive songs... or maybe Hellhammer has infected the guitarist (what's his name again?) with his progressive diverges... but damn, Attila has an amazing voice. He has improved a hell of a lot.
