but where have we ended up on "tutto" or "tv sorrisi e canzoni"? Even his mother wouldn't give him 5 stars

Thus spoke Zarathustra and I approve.
Eddie Gomez Dedication

I don't know this album at all, but from the (great) review, it seems really enjoyable... Kirk is a fantastic musician (he worked alongside Mingus, and that should be enough) along with other flutists Eric Dolphy, Yusef Lateef, James Moody, Herbie Mann, Frank Wess.
The Horace Silver Quintet plus J.J. Johnson The Cape Verdean Blues
Voto:
Great album (which it's about time to listen to again, as I haven't heard it in a while) I remember a very fit J.J. Johnson (as often happens in the albums under his name), nice review but was Silver really discovered by Getz?????

Derek & The Dominos Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs

You really made me curious to listen to this great album again (it's been years since I last listened to it).
Frank Zappa One Size Fits All

Fagen85, I can't wait for your review on CIVILIZATION PHAZE III, in the meantime, tell me where the hell you found it?????
Keith Jarrett The Melody At Night With You
Voto:
Stunning record by Jarrett, truly a gem, and the review is great as it captures many aspects.
Jan Garbarek Group Twelve Moons
Voto:
To discover, I don't know this one, I recently bought the latest by Miroslav Vitous ("Universal Syncopation", meraqviglioso) which also features Garbarek in amazing form, I'll also note this down in my notebook of CDs to buy. The review is, as always, excellent.
Horace Silver Song For My Father
Voto:
That's exactly why (meaning his limited knowledge) he should have restricted himself to expressing a judgment solely on the album and not extend his review to "jazz." Don't worry, I'm relaxed; it was just to add some color to the discussion ;-)
