There's also a guy on Soulseek who has a lot of kraut archives :), the rec is really nice, I had missed it. Recently, I bought "Ricochet" by Tangerine, a beautiful live album that no one ever talks about.

Look, T.V., I think you meant to say "...it was pointless to dwell on it," but you were mistaken; it happens to everyone. However, I ask you not to insist.

There's a typo! There's a typo! He wrote United State without the S, and now it looks like a male babysitter association, but what a ridiculous reviewer :) (nice name for the group)

A good Samaritan just passed them to me today :D, I’ll listen and let you know. But I don’t have an uncle who slaughters the pig, does one who bends the sheet metal count the same?

I had forgotten about this review. I've been listening to this album a lot recently (one of my favorites by Sebadoh), alternating it with the solo project "Emoh." The first part fits perfectly, Samuel. Sebadoh is the Barlow creation that I prefer. Barlow, whom I also prefer to J Mascis (I know, I'm almost blaspheming). His disenchanted voice moves me more, both in the ballads and in the more intense tracks, even though he’s not exactly a golden-throated singer, obviously. It seems particularly ideal in this album, for these perfect pop songs that he tends to 'ruin' (ruin in a manner of speaking, mind you) with the dirtiness of the sound and the strictly lo-fi recording. Beautiful songs that pour out from a toilet. And in this sense, the cover is even more beautiful: a child who innocently rummages where an adult would never go because they think they’ll only find shit. It’s like saying: here’s what I found instead. I want to point out a very nice version of "Magnet's Coil," just voice and acoustic guitar, which is found as a b-side on the single "Rebound." Let’s not forget Loewenstein, who has signed off on some of the most beautiful Sebadoh songs, like "Not Too Amused." I have a soft spot for Lou the nerd.
