Hello you impossible big cat, I like it when you make these analyses, I never would have believed you listened to this record. You're right, the tone is deliberately gay a bit because I am and a bit because "After dark my sweet" is. On Sister Pneumonia, the good Sonic Boom (who also appears on Ingrid Thulin) plays the Raagini(?): do you know what that is? I take this opportunity to ask some experts for clarifications. I haven't pushed myself all the way to 35007 precisely because the Julie's, as you say, never reach the explosions of the Flying Dutchmen. The record, just to give some info that isn't in the review, was practically recorded live, with few overdubs (almost none, I believe) and great production. Yes, everything is well balanced. For me, it's one of the best Italian albums of 2006, damn.

The Can record that I know best and that I've thus 'absorbed' the most, for now. You said a lot of good things, Lewis Tollani (and the commentators), so there's no need to add anything else. Cope's book is hilarious and an excellent guide for those, like me, who are passionate about this genre of music and want to know more. I believe that, as you already mentioned, Cope did not intend to elevate himself to the role of a Scaruffi; the language used is proof of that. It is a book written by a fan, and that’s what makes it great.

great these 4 hands :) I won't comment on the Liars because they are pretty much unknown to me, but now a little less..josi seems to be more shaken, while trellheim seems accustomed to certain rituals :D
