Tell me what is trivial in The Final Cut.

Well, you could have skipped The Final Cut from the list. But are you really sure you listened to it properly? You can tell me it's depressing, that it doesn't sound like a Floyd album, and that it might seem boring, but to say there's something trivial about it is just simplistic, if you'll allow me the term. So what would Have A Cigar be? And Welcome To The Machine?

I can't find any band (excluding Zappa) that has produced so many works of such quality and/or importance, even though many have come close. This leads me to say that they are the greatest; I don’t think this is a fanatical statement, you know. This is exactly what makes me think that you haven't really listened to much music, at least up until now. Sure, you're on the right track, but there will come a time when you'll say: "Damn, maybe the Floyd made some crap." And just because they sold it anyway, doesn’t it make you think: "Easy listening"?

Ale, you’re still young and you have all the time to change your mind. Of course, there’s a big difference between ROL and Music; even my uncle Tituccio, who is deaf, knows that, and I’m not here to deny it. But that doesn’t mean I can say that ROL is a good album, right? One is commercial, the other is commercial too, but they cater to the tastes of the moment in which they were produced in different ways.
