Dave, do you know what the main problem that plagues you is? You read only what you want, completely skipping over the key concepts that connect multiple ideas in a well-defined context. Or, more likely, you pretend not to understand in order to avoid admitting you’re wrong. Someone gives you an example, and you decontextualize it; someone makes a comparison to make themselves clear, and you contextualize it... If your taste prevents you from looking beyond the shadow of Floyd, it’s better to close any discussion now since we won’t get anywhere; otherwise, take a moment, revisit all the posts from the beginning, and reflect: maybe something will come to light.
