Aloha primiballi, I’m reading your comment only now... These days spent indulging in great feasts, drinks, and hookups have taken a toll on my neurons, which are now sleepy and slow... Nothing in particular about those passages regarding technique, but I believe I’m not yet able to engage in a serious discussion. If you want, I can set your little farts on fire... :D

You are a DamnTraitor, skunk with ingrown nails. I’ll mark this in red on my right forearm: every pear of mine will be a curse for you, dear friend. I’ll be waiting for you tomorrow morning at dawn, on the hill, I challenge you to a duel. At the last fiery fart. I’ll kill you, chicken.

Metalla', I have the editorial all ready, what should I do? Should I publish it as a self-review-screaming insults or send it directly to the obituary section of the Times? As for the review: I find it very interesting and "felt," although I don’t quite agree with your little speech about B.B. technique. Happy New Year to everyone.

A good guitarist has worn down the tips of his fingers from playing scales, scales, scales and more scales. But by doing scales so much, he has climbed up too high to see him anymore. Personally, I say, better this way...

Truly impressive, review and comments. Twiggy, I really appreciate the effort and consistency with which you review the masterpieces of contemporary music, but there's too much enthusiasm and too little objectivity: you're probably still young, right? You've certainly earned a 4. Now let's move on to the Doors discussion: giving this album a 1 is something that comes from fake-alternative hipsters, and I'll briefly explain why. The band's fame sank in the 80s and 90s due to the massive spread of printed material featuring Jim's face, and many have turned up their noses at such a disgrace, corroborated by a pointless and inaccurate Stone-like film. But the facts are different. Morrison wrote 98.63% of his lyrics without thinking about sales (well, the Doors didn’t even exist), the music is unconventional (What do we do? Take risks?) and the themes were quite outrageous for the time. Let's not forget that the technical level of the members is far from low, with jazz backgrounds for everyone and flamenco studies for Krieger, not just some amateurs. Technique isn't measured in solos and distortions; those are the first things a guitarist learns to do on the instrument. In my humble opinion, few of you have listened attentively (if you've ever done so) to the entire album, as everyone always focuses on Light My Fire, I wonder why. Fottermaier measured as always.
