I, Jos, have always preferred the bestial maniacal death grind, finding in the forefathers of the genre my must: Carnal Bathory. It’s probably the brutal assault of the sounds that hits me, leaving me dumbfounded. The riffs are far more powerful than those you propose. Sure, we’re talking about great bands, but this one is much meaner. @Gueddo: I don’t understand what the cover has to do with the music, but whatever, in my opinion, if you knew the bands ELSE, you wouldn't have spoken in these terms.
